  1. Na they rubbed just driving on a flat road. I had chunks out my tyres. Have they got 165s on? If not ul have some big trouble.
  2. Cheers pal Il be getting it mapped soon so il be at your standards lol get some nice wheels then dude Nice one I saw you gave that chap an offer. I had **** loads of rubbing Ive had to give it a bit of camber and grind the arches a bit and them paint them back up so it dont rust. When I first put them on with the whole adjuster out they caught just rolling up my road. I would get your arches rolled, do what I did, raise it up or get 20mm adapters. I also had to do the front passenger side as that caught going round islands due to the wheel been turned. But its all sound now I want to go lower so I might have to take some more off. If you need any tips pm me

  7. Lol yeah 45 quid. If u have a look on eBay they are all really cheap coz they are old and standard but once polished are really effective. The wheels cost 45, tyres 135, and the adapters 100 second hand, cost be about 35 for parts to polish them (sand paper nitromores polishing kit ect) There is a set on the bay polished with no tyres for £350
  8. did it yesterday and I'm really happy with it. Handling is better as there's not as much body roll Don't look funny on my 165 although it would look sexy on some 8s or 9s Il see how the tyres wear

  15. thanks for the replies I brought some washers yesterday and tried to fit them today. Upon removing the drum I realised the hub bolt is bigger than I thought so il have to borrow one off a mate. Gib I've got about that much on my front and I've not noticed any odd tyre wear but only time will tell, good job my nanks are only 33quids

  18. Alright everyone, Looking at getting some camber soon but needed a few words of wisdom from dubbers with experience. Im going to use washers untill I can get hold of some shims but are washers ok to use, they aren't going to mess my hubs up or anything? How much extra tyre wear are we talking? Will I be shredding through tyres every month? Ive been told that the ride is very twitchy when my pal did it to his polo, is this the same with the lupos? Thanks guys its a big help.
  19. Cheers cobblers. Well I've give them a good look over yesterday and all looks good. What i did was screw in the extension bolt, which goes through the alloy through the adapter and into the hub, into just the adapter and hub to hold it even rather than it just sitting on the three bolts, and then I tightened them all up slowly a bit at a time so they were all even, then hooked a round spanner over the allen key to make it tight (then I took the long bolt off). I was out last light and there has been no probs so Far think I might have solved it, just got the mother down my neck that they are too dangerous grr
  20. Cheers I've used a spanner over the Allen key il see how they hold. They were second hand but in good condition. Il just keep an eye on them. Would locktight work?
  21. Ive only had my pepperpots on a couple of days and when i Was driving home yesterday and noticed a clicking sound from the wheels, I thought it was a brake line catching so I stopped and had a look and there was nothing there so wen I got home I got the wheel off to inspect and noticed the hub adapter bolts came loose. So I tightened them back up and the noise went away. I also did the other side which was a bit loose ( if only got the fronts on ATM as my other tyres were low). It's happened again today :-( I've been told not to over tighten the bolts coz they are allen keys. What am I doing wrong? They are fk 4x100 to 5x100 25mm Thanks everyone
  22. Thinking about upgrading my system to some good qaility stuff. Saw a dude at a meet yesterday with three hifonics brutus amps powering 6 subs off 6 batterys, Loud isn't the word. I was wondering whether hifonics amps are decent like rockford fosgate and rainbow?
