Thats what I thought. My dad had a 306 td and it really sounded like a tractor which puts me off a tdi.

thanks for the reply. Im not sure what I would perfer torque or revs. I have only driven petrol cars and when I want to go I use the whole rev range. I want to put a full s/s exhaust system on it would the petrol be better for this? What sort of performance mods could I do to the tdi other than remap?

Hi all, Looking at getting a loop but unsure which one I want. Which is the quickest the 1.4 16v 100hp or a tdi? I am going to be modding it and would deff remap a tdi first. Cheers.
