  1. Hello Im interested in one of these BMC's aswell, only question is.... What are people going to do with the crank case breather as it needs to take the air back into the intake system? Had a look today at the pipe and disconnected it and found air to be blowing out of it,not being sucked into it so why does it need a tiny filter on the end of it??? ive read on another BMC thread that someone could smell fumes in the cabin which is because the breather pipe should take gases back into the engine, not get blown back out.... Let me know style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> T

Thanks everyone for your replys much appreciated style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> Bonnet release all fixed today, car was in for 8:30am and i was home for 11:30 which wasnt too bad. Ive had a quick check to make sure its been put back together properly and only slight problem is that the grill and the actual VW badge on the front of my car feel wobbly,i dont know if it was like this anyway or if its just got like this since its been in,ill have to have a better look tomorrow. Anyways cheers everyone,if it goes again in the future when my cars not under warranty ill remember your post marky aswell, cheers. 12. Just watched the video clip again, thanks aswell for that, 8.51 for the `0-60` time for my new car hmmmm mustnt have got a brilliant start, lol, only messing matthew I still would have thought that its quicker than that though, not into racing or anything just want to make that clear but had a small blat with a focus st170 the other day on a m/way sliproad and basically i had to let off,and yes he was going for it aswell, plus i had a passenger in aswell. The guy was so gutted, dont think he knew what a Lupo Gti was T
  13. Cheers again Ty Yeah basically the handle inside the car for the bonnet release is flappy i dunno if its anything as complicated as the mechanism like urs. Lemme know anyway, hopefully it'll be sorted this thursday 24th feb,its booked in nice and early aswell which gives me a better chance of getting it back. Cheers again T

  17. Cheers Tigz and Ty for your replies Ive got my Tomtom in now, sometimes use it without the charger cable sometimes with,it depends really if ive charged it up before going out in the car. thanks anyways speak soon Tom style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  18. Cheers very much I told the VW dealers that i thought it was the fuse and it was, only took them 10 mins to replace, this was after an hour of waiting for them to tell me that my bonnet release cant be fixed till next time and also a second time of reminding them to fix the cig lighter as they gave me the keys back and said "oh,i dont think he's looked at it" Only been once to these Vw dealers and they are proving to be jokers already, its a long story why im annoyed already with them but ive gone through the whole story with essexloop, lol. Other than that though the car is awesome i cant fault it at all. Speak soon Tom style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
  19. forgot to say aswell, the car is still under warranty until July 05
  20. Hi everyone, Wonderin if anyone would just like to help with a small problem? Was told on monday by my VW dealers that i'd have to re book the car in to have the bonnet release fixed as its going to be a big job, this meaning taking front end off including radiator i believe aswell :x ??? Is this right? I think they did say there were 2 ways of fixing it and the easy way couldnt be done because they couldnt get to the cable and so it would have to be the hard way which means taking everything off.aagghhh Im worrying because ive already run into trouble with this garage with my car and i think maybe the car will come back with squeaks and rattles that will be very hard to get rid of once theyve fiddled about with all the bumper and everything. Can anyone shed any light onto this one for me?? Has anyone on here had this done??? Thanks in advance Tom style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  21. Hi ,just thought id say hello to everyone, got my lupo GTi on february 9th off Essexloop on here. Great car lovin it,dont think i could of found a better example, well done matthew for looking after it so well!!! style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> Only slight niggles so far are the bonnet release has broke and cigarette lighter(not that i smoke anyway, but use it for my Tomtom) and thats about it. The cigarette lighter was fixed on monday this week, when they were supposed to be fixing the bonnet release aswell, was told it will have to be booked back in again this thursday because they have to take most of the front end of the car off to fix it style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> and its gonna take a good half day to have it done...******. Anyway im sure everyone will know about the car and the mods matthew had done to it so i wont talk about them. Look forward to posting in the future take care Tom
