  1. areet, i just wanted a general price to go off for how much its going to cost to either

    A. get my gearbox fixed/reconditioned or

    B. get a new one fitted - as i think mine is fubar.

it started off whining in fifth a while ago but thought it was just one of those 'never noticed that noise' noises (maybe its just me that has those) but it was really quiet, could only hear it without music or whatever.

but last night it was a bitch changing gear, dead stiff and clunky. it was also making quite alot of noise, whining though all the gears according to acceleration and that.

how will i know for sure wether its my pedal box or the gear box?

i dont want my lupo to die on me and i have to drive back home next week (nearly 100 miles) is he going to blow up on me and leave me stuck on the A1? ):

  2. hi!

ive got my bmx for sale now, its my baby. been building it for ages but since i goosed my ankles i never got back into it and now its just sitting in my front room taking space and looking beautiful

i bought all the parts myself and built and maintained it myself, theres absolutely nothing wrong with it, but ill include all my spares in the sale too for extra(more info to come)

i cant be bothered to list every single part on the bike but its got a 20.8 superstar light my fire frame weighing in at only 2kg, eastern cranks and huge 30" x 8" volume bars.

with all the parts on it now it owes me upwards of £470 and considering its only been rode a handful of times im looking at offers around £400

might take PX on wheels, coilovers or anything shiny and interesting

only got the one picture at the moment but can get more on request

you can pm me on here or text me on 07792 083293 for full spec etc

    cheers, jono.

  3. you dont have to take the bumper off if you can get your hand into the back.

pop the bonnet up and behind the headlights there are plastic covers held on with metal clips, take them off. theres another (really irritating) clip pushing the bulb into position. get that off replace the bulb and youre done. driver side isnt too bad but getting between the battery and the cover is a right ball ache!
