  1. The first 3 were company cars.... all great but at some point they had to be sold... sad.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> Now considering this is only the second car i have owned, it shows how much i loved them and that i was actually willing to part with my own cash to get one... and when i've "had" probally close to 35 cars in my life (i'm 25 years old)... from BMW's to Nissans that must mean i'm really in love.....

    Either that or you get bored really easily wink.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

I think i'd still like to own one...

Need to pursuade the gf to part with the 1.0l

  2. Signed on in the first time in ages to extend the invite of the uk-polos.net southern meet to all at ClubLupo to find again that on the same day you've organised your own rolleyes.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

    Never mind.

Sorry if post seems pointless but slightly inappropriate but just wanted you all to know you were very much welcome with us.

    Have fun smile.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

  3. Seen this lupo before, this time it was quite close behind me. Must say it's a very nice looking lupo.

Zender grille, possibly black headlights (they were on and you weren't that close) sure it was lowered (again was only through rear view mirror) Lowerbump sprayed to match the car apart from grille bit where fogs etc are left black.

    I was a silver polo 9n GT with votex kit. smile.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

    QUOTE(one litre wonder wink.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />)
i thought that they werent road legal those lights ?  :?  :?:

You get reflectors with them to bolt to your bumper to make them legal.

  5. QUOTE(LupoSi)

don't flash every lupo in dartford, one might have a nutter behind the wheel!

laugh.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> chances are even higher in dartford and surrounding areas to come across nutters.

  6. Ah ha LupoSi would you be the cheeky yellow lupo coming up princes road (hill) this evening? 8) S3***

I would have flashed my lights and wave but i didn't notice you till the last second. My coordination isn't great under pressure

  7. I'm sure i've seen this car around before, think the reg might be a private plate but i think it read V 8 *** but the only thing i can be definite about was the V  .

Anyhow alloys (can't tell what as you were behind me) and a badgless mesh front grille with a badge gap in the bonnet.

    Anyone on here? smile.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

(I was the silver 9n GT you followed all the way through Dartford in to Crayford.)

  8. Very nice low red lupo GTI at the top of Princes Road hill near the m25 turn on/off (i don't know it's junction). This was on Monday morning (approx 8.45) 21st March.

Crossed right in front of your car and gave the driver a smile....I was walking as i had just dropped my polo gt off at the stealers

  9. If your interested, on www.`uk-polos`.net or www.`uk-mkivs`.net there is a guy called "tinter". I got my gf's lupo tinted with him. cost £150 for rear and side windows (including front drivers and passengers).

At the end of the day it depends on where you are and your circumstances if you want to get it done with this guy.

Oh and you'll find all relevant info in "Group Buys" on both forums.

  10. Is it not the Kamei arm rest that can be bought? Dunno if it's vehicle specific though, doubt it would matter anyway. smile.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

  11. this is why i'm kicking my self so hard. I got them from ebay as it was cheaper than venom.

 kick my self even harder as i lurk on this forum quite a lot but never came across that DIY guide!

Oh well i'll sell them on someone will probably want to buy them for a stupidly cheap price, might fit them temporarily but i'll definitely give the guide ago, it's the sense of achievement at the end of it that makes doing it really worth it.

I'm going to continue kicking myself now.

  12. Cheers about the lights, hopefully wont be keeping them nor the car much longer.

Any how i've just read the instructions and it seems easy, so can a person with cack handed skills 90% of the time do it? Is it as easy as it's made it look?

  13. Ah well nevermind about them not being road leagal for now.

However if i'd seen that post before i'd bought them i'd have just done that. However, i'll get hold of some rhd lights and give that a go.

I didn't think there was anyway to make lhd -> rhd but if you don't ask you don't know.

    Cheer for the info wink.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
