  2. thanks for the info ,,, sorta opened my eyes up abit more to what i can do ,,, just need 2 make my mind up now! haha ... i can do quite a few bits my self as i am a mechanic lol but if there's gonna be alot of custom machined parts and stuff then it will probs be abit over my head lol! where abouts can u purchase the off the self turbo kit then ?
  3. so is it really worth doing what sort of power will u get from it ,,, i know yours is running throttle bodies whats yours pushing? ,,, tbh i dont mind doing the work and spending the money if its gonna be worth my while lol but if im gonna get measly power gains from it then i aint gonna bother lol also have u herd of anyone tubro'in one of the 1.4 engines ,,, and if so what sorta power do they push? thankss
  4. hi right i have read all the throttle body treads and i am quite inclined to do it to mine ..... would like to know what parts i would need ,,, and if it really is better off me using one made for a car instead of a bike ,,, would the block be able 2 cope with power? ... and will valve train be able to cope ? i know ill have to change cams ect ,,, but will it need new pistons and bottemend work or not? btw its a 1.4 ,,, not 16v but normal 8v cheers

  6. yeah i noticed on your profile it said you was from peterborough ,,, the boxes arn't great! infact i pretty much hate them ! yeah that would be alot better ! i was gonna get a build done there but they was trying to charge me a arm and a leg for one !!! cant see why ,,, i have seen some of there install's and they are far from great!
  7. i cant remember ill have a look in the book thing when i find it lol! i do like it loud ,,, the 6x9's are fine i dont think im going to change any of that i purchased my box from ice-direct in peterborough, would you say ported or sealed?
  8. the boxes i have now wasn't made by my self i purchased them for £70 each haha! they didnt have a double so i had 2 get 2 single ones they are sealed ,,, if i keep these will i be able 2 just fit a port to my current boxes? and the seat is my 1st car =) just had enough of this system i wanna new one! haha!
  9. so what subs would you say go for ,,, i have a budget round £400 for the subs ,,, my amp should be ok already i have a 3000 watt infity amp cant remember a 100% on specs and stuff ,,, im running infinity kappa 6x9's dont get me wrong the jbl subs are great but im after something abit more low fequency if u understand
  10. more sound quality tbh ,,, i have 2 jbl cs 10's and tbh there great subs real peachy punchy bass but i would like more of a deep low fequency bass ,,, yes the spare weel carrier is an idea ,,, would i stick the sub actually into the spare wheel carrier or what ,, i woudn't have a clue haha! i was going to pay for a proper boot install going to be done but they was trying to tell me it would cost me like £800 and im not paying that lol

  13. i didnt think they would ,, they say its simular to a super chip ,,, apprently they give 20hp gains and improved fuel econamy ,,,, my self i dont see how that can work ,,, i fort more power more fuel used lol
  14. right im just wondering if ill be able 2 fit 2 12" subs in the boot of an arosa ,, im currently running 2 10" subs ,,, they aint that bad ,,, a 1000 watts ,, but need more power haha ,,, do you think its possible??

  16. anything mate tbh would be nice if i could get a fast road cam kit for it but i know there very hard to get for little engine cars ,,, whats parts do you know of that are available for them?
  17. hi im new to the forum just joined today i have a 1999 seat arosa 1.4 ,, and im finding it really hard to find any decent performance parts for it ,,, does anyone know any good sites that i can check for prices and stuff manyyy thanks =D
