Are you not running the rear shocks from the TA kit?
You can remove the rear adjuster which will get you a little lower

i have i problem, i recently have blown my front struts and am looking in to coilovers. my car is all ready lowered on 40mm springs but as i stripped the back (seats, spear, sub and random things in the boot) it now sits like a monster truck. what the best coils out there that's good for the money and is not going to break the bank.
iv heard ta technix are really good for the money and last quite a bit
thanks for the help
Jake

I need a Lupo windscreen for imminent MOT. Car will be scrapped if I can't sort this out at reasonable cost. If I don't get any response I'll be listing the car on here It's a 1.4 TDI for anyone who wants to use for parts or prep for mot themselves.
Other known faults, needs 3 new tyres and exhaust is blowing but car is sound no rust and a strong engine. Lowered and most of the interior is gutted out and no rear seats. Drivers seat is from a Lotus Elise. PX seat available but not fitted. . Be a shame to scrap but it owes me nothing.
Please help me keep this car on the road.
If you get rid then i am interested in its current state

just my pennyworth but won't the width of these ruin the handling of a Lupo/Arosa
Cant see why they would, ive had 6 inch, 7 inch, 8 inch and 9 inch wheels on my lupo before, I would have said these were perfect GTI size

Have you looked at a SDI or TDI for insurance. being diesel less sporty? Could bring it down?
I paid about 700 quid on my TDI at 19 for insurance

I bought my TDI 12 years ago on 24k. Now this morning ticked over to 188K, has full service history, whenever something has broken or i think something is about too ive replaced it.
Not let me down yet. 127k is nothing on one of these bad boys. To think i only paid 5k with it having 24k on it and 2 years old is madness considering what they still fetch now.

Add arches or flare them, the wheels are too wide whatever tyre you put on
