  1. any other tire the same size as the falkens mate

stretch is all about tire size compared to the rim width ie narrow tire + wide wheel= stretched look

    u dont get a 195/45 stretch tyre and a 195/45 normal tyre

I thaught different tyre makes had different stretch regardless of the size due to the thickness of the sidewalls etc...

  2. When I first baught my car it had Falken 195 45 15s on my ats cups and they had a real nice stretch on them, however i've since been using goodyear eagle f1's but fancy a change, i have been told they dont do them falkens any more, i want some similar can anyone recomend any tyres for me with a nice stretch?

  3. Paid 89.9p yesterday. Seems like years ago that I paid less than 90p. Its still to much but its much better than the 110p we were paying a while back!

How much is it locally for y'all?

As i drove past morrisons this morning i noticed it was 87.9 :o pretty good really, one of my mates payed 103.9 for diesel today at esso :o

  4. You can rent a 5 bedroom semi detached house in scarborough in a fairly nice area with a nice garden, garage etc for like £900 i was looking into it not so long ago with a couple of mates. Not including bills but still, thats cheap in comparison to £600/month each in a 2/3 bedroom flat!

  5. Don't go to Ropeworks or whatever that is... go to GO APE... it's brilliant fun!

went with work recently to one near here and we had a great day!!

Go Ape and ropeworks are quite different i think, there is a Go Ape near where i Live anyways and ive already done it. Im not disputing that its no fun because its brilliant, just this ropeworks thing seems quite a bit different.

  6. Betws Y Coed is about 30mins away from where I live, haha lucky me! Hmm well, nearby there's a place called Bethesda (its signposted) its not great but quite 'quaint' I suppose, there's a nice drive through there that takes you past Lake Ogwen, which has got nice views and its good for climbing if you're into that, the mountains called Llyn Idwal.

Also try Llanberis (again not far) bright painted buildings etc, good for outdoors stuff, there's a castle and a watersports place.

Or you could do the tourists favourite thing and go to Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychgwyndrobwchsantyseiliogogogoch (also known as Llanfairpwll - the place with the longest name in the country) Its rubbish if you're local, but tourists just love posing with the sign lol.

Gripping I know, but this is North Wales we're talking about

Let me know if you wanna know anything else :shades:

Anywhere for a semi decent night out / pi55up? haha

  7. "Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychgwyndrobwchsantyseiliogogogoch"

I refuse to believe without photographic evidence that thats a real place.... thats unnecessarily welsh. Infact theyr just showin off that they have the worlds most complicated (and unnecessary... theyr very much welcome to use ours) language ever.

Something for me to do then, ill get you your evidence haha!

  8. Haha I'm from Anglesey!

To be honest there isnt a lot to do, but there are some really beautiful spots.

Whereabouts are you camping? If I know where you're near I can tell you whats nearby :)

I haven't a clue how to pronounce it but the closest town to our campsite is called "betws y coed"

  9. Yeah sounds about right, It just wouldn't be that easy would it? haha

Ah well. I'll just leave it, I'm not sure that the power gains from an induction kit would even justify the price on a 75bhp? pay £70 odd for 1, maybe 2 bhp. I'm on a budget here!

While im here, anyone got any 2nd hand springs for sale?

    Or 2nd hand induction kits?

    Cheers

A 2nd hand induction kit is like using 2nd hand bog roll. Dont do it!

  10. I know a few people in the RAF they all seem to enjoy it, i also know a few people in the army, they hate it and want to get out asap. Especially the ones who have been to afghan/iraq etc.

I applied for the army but didn't get in due to a lazy eye, its meant to be a brilliant career with lots of opportunities, i cant see the RAF being much different. My grandad spend 30 years in the RAF and said it was a piece of pi$$ once you can hack the dicipline side of things. Go for it, no matter what role you want you will still be respected by employers on "civvy street" and most people will employ you once you are out because they know you will never be late for work, you will always be smartly turned out, you will try your hardest at anything and most of all, your boots will be shiny as fh00k.

  11. I hope no one paid near £7K for that! Its not worth £600 never mind £6K! You could have a car for that much

Some people are in a world of their own it seems ;)

Come on give the guy some credit! at least its " ALL SMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTHERED IN LIKE A BABIES BOT BOT "
