  1. Im pretty sure you heat the springs up and then compress them. Should give you even compression over the spring length.

    That's correct. It's done by a spring manufacturer.

  2. I've used 'pressed' springs at the rear. That's all. The roads here ain't that good, but I've got used to avoid potholes so I'm not scraping everywere.

  3. Ah yeh that is also a problem I had, the plastic bit that was rubbing was a wiring trunk,

    Re-route the wiring around the front of the sump is the best bet

    Haha no! But the noize in the car from the driveshaft when driving wasn't nice either!

    BBS wheels are sold, whats next? Wider at the front!

    The new shaft hits the plastic on the oil pan? WTF..

    I haven't pics, the rear springs are pressend and I've created camber on the rear axle with some small rings.

    Next week: Framenotch! Destroyed my second driveshaft in about 1000km's by driving low haha

    My name is Sander and I live in the Netherlands, this is my 4th Lupo after a Jazzblue 1L, an uniblack GTI and a Taftgrün 1.4 55kW. Can't get enough of them!

    Let me introduce my current Lupo here!

    Some facts:

    -Lupo 74kW Comfortline

    -15'' BBS RS, 7J with 280mm G60 brakes in front, 8J at the rear.

    -Details like GTI wipers, yellow lights, ..

    To do:

    -Framenotch

    -Leather interiour with Porsche 924 front seats
