I had a look at the service schedule with the dealer today. I couldn't find anything about the 4 years / 40k miles. All it shows is inspection of cam belt at 30k and renewal at 60k. N omention of 4 years.

Can I download anything to prove the 4 years?

I'm a bit concerned about the cambelt. It sound like that has been missed too, as the car was registered in Feb 2003.

I wouldn't have known about that.

For me the alloy wheels didn't add anything extra to the insurance premium over an 'E' or 'S' spec.

Don't forget the cambelt will be due aswell, not desperate at that mileage, BUT the interval is 4 years or 40,000 miles, whichever comes first.

I say haggle on price and go for it!

Hi all

I'm new to this forum and am in the proocess of buying my first Lupo. (Needs to be a 1.0 engine for insurance for a 17 yo.)

I've found this one and would appreciate views on whether this car represents good value.

Service history has first two at VW, then one by a local garage but seems to be missing the last service.
