  1. Didn't buy those. It seems they weren't compatible.  Bought these . Same specs as you guys told me, 13 " so hopefully I can fit the tyres I already have 175/65/r 13. Had to buy them from Germany. 147 € including postage. Is not that bad I hope. They need a refurb, but compared to the steel wheels I curently have, they are mint.

Always find out the centre bore rather than assume it will be big enough as some are smaller than 57.1mm and wont fit (without hassle) that even applies to after market wheels that usually are larger centre bore as sometimes they offer them in specific size for a specific car like mx5, mini etc and they wont go on the VW hubs.

It's also worth asking what car they have come off too as some sellers have no clue and just guess the PCD, so you end up on a wasted journey or else having bought the wrong size wheels.

I've sent him a msg. I included what you also said. Now I just wait for his reply. Thank you !!

    PCD: you need 4x100mm

    Centre bore: you need 57.1mm

Offset: this will depend on width, but 35-45mm is listed for OEM.

    Bolt size: 12 x 1.5

Strictly speaking, you don't need explicitly 57.1mm, you need 57.1mm or above, and if above then some spigot rings from eBay work perfectly well.

Perhaps a trivial point, but worth putting out there.

Thank you both very much indeed. You  helped me a lot. Il ask the guy straight away.  Even if they will not fit, now I know on the future what to ask. I love this forum, great community.

  4. Hello everybody. Not sure if these will fit . I have a vw lupo 1.0 e 2003. Any help is welcomed. They need a refurb but I think it will be a nice adition if they fit. Not sure what exactly I have to ask the seller.

    Thanks in advance, Constantin

have a look at these threads on a heavy clutch

neither gives a clear cut answer but the 2nd is better, I'd guess its the clutch release bearing that means gearbox off and new clutch

Hi thank you for your reply. What do you mean by gearbox off ? It sounds similar with the first video on that thread. The noise is a bit lower than that.

I just went outside for a fast recording.

  6. Hi again. Really sorry for the late reply. I was so busy with work I even forget about date. If you asked me on monday what date we are in, I couldn't even tell you  haha.

Back to the subject. Thank you very much for taking your time and trying to help me.

Is a 53 reg, vw lupo e ,1 l engine. It has 97.000 miles on it. My friend owned the car and he took really good care about it. He brought a big one because of the family and luckly I got it from him. The engine sounds really nice. The cambelt was changed at 84.000. Im in love with the car.

The cluth it seems is starting to engage  when I press the pedal around half way. Is really stiff. Sometimes because of this I stall the engine. The fustration is big.( I know I blame the clutch xd ). Well probably both.

The thing with the reverse I noticed if I push a bit harder it does work without any problems. Probably me being a newbie didn't properly put it in reverse.

Just brought a bonet bra for it and ordered a pair of arch fenders. I can't wait to put them on. Alloy wheels are  next but they are a bit expensive so I need to save up a bit.

Sorry for the long post, but I really like talking about it xd

  7. Hello everybody. New here. Just brought my first car today. Lovely vw lupo 53 reg. The engine sounds good. The problem that I have, and I am really concerned about it because is the first car I have and I really want to start knowing all that I need about it. As they say if you take good care of your car, she will take good care of you. Jumping to the problem , the clutch is really heavy and sometimes in reverse it makes a wiring noise and it doesn't move at all. It doesnt happen all the time . I hope is not something serious . Maybe someone can give me some sugestions, as I am a complete newbie when it comes to cars. Kind regards , Constantin
