  1. Harder isn't always better. Sometimes going over uneven ground is a lot easier and faster with a softer suspension. Then you have a hard suspension.

Before lowering me personally I would fit some arbs. That way you reduce the roll whilst keeping the comfort. Then you can lower on spirngs, shocks or coilovers later. All IMO of course.

No car expert but what are arbs? Prices /benefits negative etc!

    Thanks for the help btw!

  2. Really feel uncomfortable in my car at the moment.

The car feels very floaty/rocky around corners and over bumps.

I've been told the suspension is just too soft!

So What are the best suspension kits/springs to get.

Bear in mind I'm only 17 and wouldn't mind lowering the car aswell as it still has standard suspension.

    Any suggestions/helps/links will be appreciated.

    Thanks

  3. My 51 plate lupo, seems to have a very soft suspension! I dont know weather this a generic thing with lupo's, but its something that im nott keen on.

What is the possible options of creating a harder ride?

The main sort of 'bounce' to he car seems ti be coming from the front springs.

Any suggestion/web links to products would be great.

    Thanks

  4. We've had the wheels balanced twice now, has helped a little, but can still feel vibration/wobble through the steering and pasenger footwell partially. The main problem seems to be the feel/handling of the car, very rocky, feeling like you can tip the car when going round the corner. even pushing down on the front side of the car it bounces several times!

We are getting the tracking rods done saturday and working from there.

Any other suggestions will be a great help.

    Thanks

  5. Hi, can someone please please help....

my son bought a VW Lupo 51 plate and when we accelerate up through the gears you can feel it vibrating through the wheels.

we thought it maybe the drive shaft but we checked them and all sound.

we have ahd all 4 wheels balanced and swopt form front to back and again...

so we have now just fitted brand new whishbones but we still have the vibration.

when fitting the whishbone the section that had the bolt going upright was a lot smaller than the hole it was going through - we thought that wa svery weird but it was juts like the original.

    what else can it be..?

    as i am now lost!

Thanks - a grief stricken father of a frustrated nearly 17 year old
