  1. Got my Mk1 past the MOT and it needs a few things which arnt major but need to be done before i sell it in march.

Things that need to be done:

    brakes and discs

    Track rod end

    Suspention bush's

    Antiroll bar bush's

Dare say someone on here has done these just want abit of guidance on how hard they are to do?

Also I've looked briefly into it just wondering what to buy?

Was going to get a Haynes but i know they don't do a lupo/arosa one but I've heard of the 6n2 is similar will this help?

    Cheers in advance

  2. Coming from someone in the signage and vehicle graphics and wrapping industry if your getting a wrap done for £400 your going to have a bad time!

Like matt said your looking from £800-£1000 for a full decent wrap.

People who charge in the region of £400 are going to use cack vinyl which could peal it probably isnt going to be cast so it will pop out of any indentations and their finishing is generally ****.

I dont mean to hate on the 1 man bands who do vehicle wrapping in their garage but if you want it done properly go to someone who has a good reputation. Someone who can show you photos of their cars and sometimes videos.

  3. What is the max tyre size you can put on a rosa?

Im looking at these alloys which are 175/65/r15

mine currently are 175/65/r13 it will be 50mm increase in diamiter will these fit?

Thats what ive got, I get radio 1 and heart fine by me and on the way to work but if i try and get capital or anything else its **** reception.

If i drive to my mates i loose everything other than radio 1, does my fruit in i wanna get a dab radio but dont have the money at the moment so i have to make do like

try and fix it this way

  5. I know this has come up a few times but clearly no posts have helped me otherwise i wouldnt be in situation.

My radio reception is cack, i get 3 radio stations and even those crack up when i go certain places. I know that i need a amplifier which i have got but ive tried to wire it in and i get nothing from it at all. Ive wired it into the remote and it makes no difference and ive even tapped into the ignition and still nothing.

Surley someone can help me listen to the radio properly.

I dont want to listen to a cd or my phone so dont suggest that

  6. Right so i bought that stuff cause you know £25 is a bargin an will do me for now.

    Anyway

Ive wired it all in sweet as a nut took less time than i thought tbh, i started at about 3:30 this afternoon and all the wiring was in by 5:30 at the latest so it just left me to wire it into the amp and then on to the sub.

So i wired it all in and it wasnt working but i had a bad ground so i just put it on the boot catch just for like to make sure it worked like and it all worked fine. Then i decided to move it around abit and now its not working.

The amp has power to it but the protector light is on, this happened when i had the bad ground but now if i use the ground i did before it still doesnt work any ideas?

  7. That does not look cool lol. I like the camshaft lamps you get though.

Does anyone know what the standard seat one looks like I have completely forgotten.

I think it would look mint if it was properly polished

And they are leather with a plastic disc on top shaped big at the top tapering down if you know what i mean

  8. Them pictures you've made are amazing mate! How did you do that?!

Ide like to say skills that pay the bills mate but i work for a signage company and we have loads of vehicle outlines that are to size and they only had a lupo so i just adjusted it to make an arosa then lowered it and made some p slots for it. Ive done it to out company van too

  9. Basically i have 2 edge subs but its only the sub no enclosure or anything though i made one today whilst at work which just needs the sub mounting etc but i dont have an amp.

I saw this for sale right by were i work im just wondering if 1 this would fit in my boot and 2 if its worth getting?

    2x kenwood 6x9's in boxes

    1x phase linear sub

    1x toxic 400w amp

    All for £30.

    Width - 500mm

    Height - 370mm

    Depth - 320mm

    What do you think?

  10. If you can put up with it you can leave it till mot time, otherwise get the section you need from eurocarparts or similar.

The biggest issue is getting the brackets off as the bolts can seize so have to get the trusty angle grinder out.

Well ill put up with it untill i can afford to do it like case of having to like just wondered if their was a quick fix for it like

  11. You can do it yourself if your confident with the spanners ( you may need to cut the sleeves off though)

Otherwise get a standard OEM part, if you want stainless (will last a lot longer) your better off getting one made or spend a penny and get a decent one.

Sportex's are cheap for a reason.

If im honest im confident i could do it myself and the reason i need it cheap as poss is im broke as a joke at the moment and will be for the next year as im doing an apprenticeshit so i get hardly any money so spend on my car.

This is the reason ive had it 2 months and its not on its arse with a naughty set of shoes on it haha

  12. Right my exhaust is f*cked ive got the fibres coming out. Looks like ive ran over jodie marsh and got left with her weave haha

Can anyone tell me how long i can leave it l can leave it before i get a new one?

And can anyone suggest one ive seen a few sportex ones on ebay and such like but how easy are they to fit?

    Thanks in advance
