I bought mine which has the same spec and mileage as mentioned except it is a 52 and is Dark Blue `3-4` months ago from a Reg Vardy VW dealer and it was £9950 so for a private buy I'd say between 9 and 9 and a half grand. Make sure its had its first inspection service.

Thats really crap!! Surely the cambelt condition is checked at a normal inspection service!!

BMW drivers and van drivers along with taxi drivers are the scourge of the universe.

The main problem with the GTI is that all the wee p****s in Corsas, Saxos and any other crappy done up cars see the GTI badge and want to race you. Oh and lots of people flash you at night cause they think you have your full beam on because of the xenons. Anybody else get that, or is it just me? Its really annoying!

Just got the new sp8000s on. What a difference. Car feels as if it is glues to the ground. Great for horsing out of roundabouts. No more wheelspinning all over the place...

If you go to mytyres.co.uk theres a rating guide for the two different tyres. The 8000s come out best.

Some garages won't fit tyres they haven't supplied as it invalidates their insurance. Mytyres is by far the cheapest though.

Got a 6 speed 52 plate Raven Blue GTI. Had it for 3 months now. Had a test drive of a 5 speed before buying and didn't think it was as good. It's now got 25000 on the old clock as I've done 8000 miles already. I think the tyres I'm just sbout to get will be the 3rd set on the front. I'll have a look at my Tyres.co.uk

Can anyone advise me what the `0-100` of the Lupo GTI is as I can't seem to find it recorded anywhere? Can anyone also tell me where the cheapest place online is to buy Dunlop 5000s or 8000s as fitted to the car? Cheers!
