Does anyone have a picture of one on a car?
-
Mines a coin tray with the cupholder front on it, handy for keeping my ipod hidden!
Not a bad idea I've got mine on a holder in the heater vent and it looks a mess. Think ill just buy the front if someone has one on here. My closest VW garage is 25 miles away can't really justify going that far for a
Piece of plastic lol
-
I think its as follows:
Cupholder insert - 4B0 885 995 B 01C - £38.76 inc vat
Cup holder front n/s - 6N0 858 607 01C - £7.50 inc vat
Thanks for the reply, £38 just for the bit that holds the cup? That's madness! Think ill just keep it as a coin tray haha

Sorry Shaun, I have't had time to look at the number on mine. Going on holiday tonight and been real busy.
Lupogtiboy should be able to help.

I have a fully working tray/cupholder unit, but with the left hand tray front missing.
You can have it for £20 posted and I'll give you the part number for the missing front. I paid about £5 for one.
Let me know...
Yeah I'll take it mate as long as it can still be used? And it's this type to go under the head unit? Thanks!

Please, if you wouldn't mind bud is it defiantly this type for the din? CheersIv got a broken one of these at home that i had in my w reg sport il have a look for the part number when i get in from work later if you still need it?

if its in your car just pull it out and have a look?
however im assuming its not and you want to purchase one?
some here;
http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?/classifieds/item/2493-vw-lupo-polo-coin-tray-cup-holder/
but if you want to purchase one i suggest using one of these
http://forums.clublupo.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=62782 (only fits if you have a newer dash though, as pictured not with button cluster)
however i cant find the part numbers for it!! just ring your local vw describe the part and theyll tell you
Thanks for the reply! Yeah, I'm wanting to buy one and it has to be this type as I have the old dash. I'm just after the part number because the last 2 things I've described they've ordered the wrong thing lol

Hi mate, and welcome! When I bought mine (a 1.4s) I filled the tank for £37ish and got 298 miles and I was about half way into the red so she still had a few miles in her! That was all motorway though and I was doing about 80 mph most of the way. Hope this helpshi all thankyou for welcoming me into your wonderful world of lupo ownership ive just got a 1999 1.4 automatic in soft blue with 44k mls on the clock and a full main dealer stamped service history the car was bought off a friend purely by chance i recieved a text the car was a bargain so i took a chance and.....wow what a fantastic car where to start ? its comfy, quiet amazingly roomy inside for my 6ft 2" 16stone bulk the standard stereo is amazing the gearbox is so smooth theres no leaks or squeaks compared to my citroen zx ive owned previously to this the only faults i can find with it are theres no cup holders lol i love the way the dials light up blue at night, the lightness of the power sterring and the way it costs half the price to fill up
does anybody know what mileage i will get on £30 of fuel ? i drive like a granny speedlimits everywhere im hoping for 250 ! is this being too optimistic ?

Welcome!
Every time I wash mine I think the exact same thing hahatry to avoid the jetwashes enjoy caressing the soft curvaceous lines especially top of bonnet where headlight bulges are remindes me of boobies mmmmmmmm boobiiieeeessss

Yeah I was in the same boat wanting a sport. But the cheaper ones were on really high mileage so I settled for my 1.4s with 71k for £900! Just be patient and be prepared to travel a little. Where abouts in the north east you from?Hello mate! I think i'm gonna give up on a sport and go for the 1.4s 16v like yours, just gotta keep lookin i suppose one is bound to show up eventually
-
Hallaw mate! Welcome! I'm from newcastle too I was after a lupo for ages, but at you say there isn't many around up here. I ended up going to Bradford for mine and it was well worth it! I've just got a 1.4s 16v (75 bhp) and it does the job. Proper fun little car I love her lol
-
Thanks for clearing that up mate . I'm desperate for one but didn't know exactly what I needed. It's a nightmare not having anywhere for drinks like!OEM for a Lupo, yes. You may find them with either 2 cupholders, or 1 coinholder (left)and 1 cupholder (right).
You may find other types which fit though as it is an ISO\DIN slot.
-
Cheers . And there's only one type? All one part.

Hey Shaun
The little din tray - I'm not sure if you mean the cubby hole but this was what usually came with pov spec Lupos. It may have come with some Lupo S too, however most came with the cup holder + coin tray. If you look on ebay, you'll find mixes of both the cup holder + coin tray or two cup holders. The part is quite easily disassembled so having twin cup holders is very possible, and you could always DIY it if you got a cheap cup holder + coin tray.
That's my plan but I'm not sure if there is more than one type of cupholder as I've saw some under the head unit and some where I have my hazards and demister. I had a CD player and a tape deck in mine, but now I have a aftermarket head unit and a cubby hole the same size underneath. I've saw cup holders in that space and they had a thin cubbyhole between itself and the head unit. Is that a separate piece or part of the cupholder?
-
I'm after a cup holder/coin tray and I was wondering if they are all the same? I know they can either go in a din slot or under the dash. I need a one to go in the din slot under the head unit. Also is the little din tray that goes above them part of it or separate? Cheers, Shaun.

My mates got a silver civic with bright orange wheels. It looks the nuts! Doesn't half stand out too.

That's what I thought. Unless they didn't know it was there?Fan has its own temp sensor on the bottom of the rad I think.
I doubt anyone would fit an override switch due to that breaking - it would be cheaper to replace the sensor!
Has the car previously been modified?
Since I asked this the fans gone mental, I flicked the switch and it started screaming! Any ideas? Or would it be best to replace the fan and all the sensors?
As for modifications the only one I know of was a sub in the boot cus there's a massive hole cut out of the boot floor :/

Hey all, not sure if this is the right place for this, sorry if it is.
I'm after a window switch like this one. Anyone have one spare I could buy?
I'm also after a 3rd brake light.
Cheers, Shaun.
