  1. Not trying to move you away from the 40mm drop, but for the price of what DMP are selling them for you get get a cheap set of coilovers (JOM, I got mine for 179) They have 40mm by default, if you want to go lower in the future you could.

    Just my opinion.

  2. Ahh right thanks boys. Is taking the adjusters out on the back an easy enough job?

You don't have to put them in, I think the only reason why they have them in to start is let the springs settle and the remove them. not a hard job if you have the tools to do it. Took me like 15 mins to do.

  3. nice one mate! Not meaning to be picky or anything, but how are you on the Airlift stand if you're not running air?!

You can just buy the ticket, well you could, the had a limited spots. £15 :shifty:

    AIRLIFT SHOWCASE PASS - £15

If you would like to have your car(s) on display inside the circuit, each driver will need a Airlift Showcase Pass.

    • Available in advance only

    • No pre-approval needed

    • Any passengers will need a Classic Platinum Pass to gain entry - this is due to circuit restrictions

    Confirmed entry to Showcase

Airlift Showcase Pass to admit driver

Players sticker pack inc. Goodwood sticker

  4. Looking good mate, but personally I would have stuck with the Bullets. I'll be making the trip to Players next weekend so might see you and the car down there! :)

Thanks man! All my mates say the same thing about the wheels.. My car, my choice. :innocent:

"Your car is your story, so don't let someone else write the book"

I will be on the Air-lift stand.

  5. So I had pressed plates on about a week ago, Got pulled for them..

"Not legal.. blah blah blah.. I wont give you a ticket or fine, If i see you with them on again then I will."

To my knowledge if it has the British Standard mark then it legal? - I have BSAU145d

I was looking on ebay for some more that claim to be road legal and MOT worthy.

Until I read the small print.

All plates unless specifically requested (documentation required) are sold as "show use" and/or "off road use" and therefore we cannot be held responsible for illegal use of these plates on the road, by choosing "buy it now" you are agreeing to these terms and conditions of sale, We cannot be held responsible for any fines or convictions resulting from using these plates for any purpose but for the one for which they were designed

So to get "Road legal" Plates you need to show them a V5 document or similar?

  6. So the story beings.... :surprised:

As you know I got mu Bullet SIXTY refurbish, All was good I was just waiting on tires. Then I seen some Lenso BSX with tires for a good price, So PX'd my Sixtys and got them!

Yeah yeah fake splits etc.. *Flame suit on* :furious:

I've had my coil-overs for about a month now and I just got my wheels on, Needs lowing more but I need to roll my arches. Anyone know or live in Leicestershire that can do them form cheap or even better for free!

  7. See told ya' so. Very nice job, but £250 is quite expensive!

For acid dipped, sand blasted and powder coated?

Got quoted £40 per wheels at other places (just for power coating)

I really do exceed my self some times, got the wheels for £200, Messed the paint up so had to get em re-done for anther £250 = £450

The wheels new are £350 :paperbag:

  8. Did you dilute it? Did you leave it on longer than the 5-10 minutes?

Yea but not enough :( My own fault really. Left it on for 2/3 minutes.

Really wanted it set up for EE this Sunday, That won't be happening now.

Quoted £40 per wheel for powder coat, But with finish will never be the same.
