Yes, some one offered to build the car back together for me, and check everything I had done was done correctly.

erm... Twice the recovery truck didn't turn up, and both times I was releaved.
Decided to leave the car here but forgot to tell my supplier.
Just got home after a night and day in London and found the cars gone!
The bloke turned up on my street, and waited 30 mins blocking the road off until Emma got home.
He'd turned up on a 44ft transporter! lol:
Oh well, its gone now.
The car will return just needing wireing and mapping.
May get him to paint her while its away...

Yep it made me chuckle too. he's into pat at the moment and has even got a same size as him pat too going to try and get a pic of them both... he he.
Yep it shocks me to think how quick the time has gone for us both too. Albie has 8 teeth now and walking with his kiddy zimmer push and walk thing he says about 8 words like mum,cat dog, ta, cat, gone, gad cos he cant say dad yet. We want a little girl now but its going to be another 3 years ish before we can. got to chip the leon first..lol for the extra power to weight...

Speaking of cables...
Just recieved the throttle linkages.
First package Ive disapointed with.
It cost over £100 for the kit, which I comes in two bags.
A few nut and bolts and Stainless brackets along with a new cable.
Seems a lot of cash, but not many parts
Still, at least that is everything needed now.
I'm getting moist with anticipation andy.. Good to see it coming on Bro

Agree with Andi I quite like it and if the finish is good i could look factory. I would have a honecomb grill in place of the slatted one though so as to give it the GTi type stance... Andi now thats a goatee

Just need to get that engine in now then.
Think Im going to rent a winch for the weekend after next.

hi Andi yep still around just . he is about 3ft 2 so nearly as tall as his mum lol. she'll slap me for that. will get a pic up soon dood and will have a good look at how the motors have been getting along. wonder how my old one is mm. any one got y27_xgn ?
