  3. Got quite a few of these left, if anyone wants one, in white only. Small (300mm) are £2.00 each or two for £3.00. Large (500mm) are £3.50 each. Delivery is free. Paypal address is pay@milfstore.co.uk - stick your name & address in the details box, and confirm how many stickers you want/what size. They've been popular so far, thought i'd offer some on here. 4. I agree, can definatly see one sat nice over some staggered, wide wheels.
  5. Spotted the new polo today, thought i'd dust off the very rusty photoshop skills and have a little tinker. Before After Kept it fairly simple, dropped it a tad, bit of tuck, extended a few bits of bodywork etc. I think the original is lovely, cant wait to see them on the road. 8)
  6. Give Menzerna Intensive Polish 3.02 a try, either on a compounding pad or polishing pad, and then refine it with Menzerna Final Finish on a Finishing pad. That's all I use fella. As for sealing, i'm still venturing into that area, but i've recently picked up some Chemical Guys Blitz spray, and some Chemical Guy's Synthetic Quick Detailer. So, the process I tend to follow, at the minute, is:- Menzerna IP 3.02 on Compounding/Polishing pad. Menzerna Final Finish on Finishing pad. CG Blitz Sealant CG Quick Detail Spray That seems to be a good combination, obviously just my opinion, for darker cars such as metallic blue, red, black etc. Wax is the next step to tackle. It's an expensive deep hole.
  7. Cheers fella. What machine/pads/polishes are you using? I'm not a professional fella, i'd rather not take on other peoples car as it'd be my luck for something to go wrong. Thanks though.
  8. Went to put the car away last night and realised that someone had keyed it, from front to back, down the drivers side. Well, to say I wasn't a happy bunny would have been an understatement. Was genuinely that annoyed, that I didn't even bother looking at it last night, I just parked the car up and went to bed. Come to it this morning expecting the worse, and realised that with a bit of playing, most of it should machine out. They hadn't actually done it with a key, it must have been blunter than a key as it'd only taken away the top of the surface, just enough to leave a mark. So, I got to work, and after 2 heavy passes with the Sonus SFX-1 pad and Menz IP 3.02, it was 99% corrected, and even totally removed in places. Some before and afters. I'm happier than a kid with a chocolate bar at present, as I was thinking last night it was going to need paint. I fall in love with the machine polisher more and more each time I use it. :thumb:
  9. One of the best moves you'll ever make is joining www.TalkPhotography.co.uk - the knowledge on their is beyond immense, they're a friendly bunch and anyone is welcome. Aside from that, you'll just pick it up as you go along, but you need to get out/play with the camera at every chance possible to do this. Another bit of advice is try not to run before you can walk, learn the camera, learn the settings, understand how it all works, THEN start trying the fancy ****. If you learn the camera, learn the technique and then put it to work, you'll become a better photographer for it. Photography mags are another good one, especially for learning, just have a gander in the shop at which one takes your fancy/will help you most at that point of where you're at skill wise, theres plenty on offer.
  10. Thanks for the information andy, and I wish you the best of luck on informing the whole of the UK about the legalities about motoring. I wish I loved my job as much as you do... I think its some what special.
  11. In that case should I stick you down for a pair?
  12. Hmmm, obviously not eh? As many of our customers cars have been through an MOT with these "ILLEAGLE" kits fitted, including several of my own. And correct me if I am wrong but VOSA are the people who set the standards for MOTs? Maybe if you are that concerned you should start a new thread that is specifically aimed at the legalities of fitting after market HIDs, that way people can exchange the many different parts of the law that contradict each other like I have seen over and over again in different threads. For sale threads are not the place to do it and I'm sure if you took the time to read the rules of the site you would already know this. If all else fails it will at least bump your post count up.
  13. To be truthful, i did one photoshop in 2007. Should have kept up with it really, but photography took over, so i'm no doubt a little rusty.
