  1. I remember the whole main page showing my name as the last poster one night.

Twisty was on nights also and was trying to spoil my efforts the whole night by replying to me laugh.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

The thread was not deleted was it?

As far as I know, only the classifieds are deleted.

Ah, I remember that. Didn't you get a screen dump of it and post it on here. laugh.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

  2. I know and can tell when its been selectively edited - ie the cow incident, and many others on the other tg's when they have raced and stuff.

But what tells me it was all genuine is the look on hammonds face when he has to jump start the caddilliac. That one moment convinces me its genuine as you cannot fake those expressions.

Also, the whole garage bit was one rolling film, there was no cuts in there - and also, I just dont feel that they would fake something like that when its meant to be funny.

Well in that case we shall have to agree to disagree. wink.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />

It made me laugh anyway if that's any consolation.

  3. 3.15 is fantastic, just watched it. Reading the geeks forums it seems as if most thought last nights was average, but I thought it was one of the best of the series to be honest. Great character development.

    Downloaded to watch tomorrow or Thursday. smile.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

  4. Someone put on another forum

What the hell has happened to her? She's gone from stunner to ragged old monk.

Made me chuckle, but the entire Britney thing seems very sad. She seems to have turned into a drunken minge flashing old tart like you see down Torquay on a Saturday night. Next, Britney Spears the sex tape.

  5. I think as long as you're not leering and slobbering over them, what's the problem?

If a woman wasn't proud of her norks she wouldn't have them on display would she? And surely no woman is daft enough to think most blokes aren't going to look at her thrupennies when they're on show?

    Why not toss her a compliment? "Awright love, nice funbags" laugh.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

  6. I don't think the major issue here is global warming or environmental issues, it's the fact that 1 million plus people signed a petition saying they didn't want this, and Blair is going to push it through anyway.

    I thought this was supposed to be a frigging democracy? mad.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mad.gif" />

  7. laugh.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> laugh.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

    Sounds like the sort of thing I'd do, though I haven't got any trousers like that. biggrin.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

  8. Nice to have a Helo centric episode, and I loved it when he smacked Tigh in the mouth, only to have him laugh and respect him more. Tighs really lost it this series, he was always my favourite and he just keeps getting better and better.

You sense he's on the verge of going ballistic whilst on a moonshine crazed rampage don't you!

Wonder if he's one of the final 5?

  9. Have just watched it.

Blimey, it was good. Very dark for an American show.

    Cracking. I like those little interludes between the main story. biggrin.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

Annette has been watching it with me since the start too. Unusually for a woman she likes sci-fi, which is great with me. smile.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

  10. I think you're kidding yourselves if you don't think they would selectively edit a program to make a situation look far worse than it was. I'm sure that woman did hand out some abuse, but as for the rest of it I am highly sceptical.

  11. LOL. Yeah, I was banned from watching Dragons Den last night. smile.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

As for popularity, well if you read the scare stories by the yanks that live with their mums, the ratings have been poor. In reality they've been pretty good, there was a mid season lull, but its picked up again. In my limited understanding of American ratings and how they rise and dip, this is normal. Critical reception has risen massively though, the hype going into Season 3 back in the Autumn was immense.

You may or may not have noticed that the air night has been changed in the US, used to be Friday night, is now Sunday night.

Next Sunday's episode, 3.15 looks good, looks like the Chief and Cally are trapped in one of the Viper launch tubes. Tense. smile.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

Ah, that explains why I can no longer download it on Saturday morning then.

I've still not seen it. Annette's emotionally sensitive friend came round yesterday and blubbered all night and I have to wait until Annette can see it with me. rolleyes.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" />

  12. Watched it yet BigMon?

Not that its particularly a surprise, but it appears Season 4 is a go, judging by the news stories online. Only downside is that its being reported as not coming until January 2008, which is an unusually long break and misses the tradition autumn US start time.

    Not yet as I got, ahem, distracted last night. laugh.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />

    Deffo will watch it tonight.

Good news about S4 though. I take it it's been popular in the States then?

  13. Apparently the museum with Tutankamun's death mask in is a must see. I think it's at a place called Luxor. My parents went and loved it (and I have a cheesy Pharoah's head souvenir biggrin.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> ).

  14. Agreed.

I dont mind so much though, its the only car program that my wife rushes around to sit down and watch with me.

    Same here! smile.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I enjoyed the program and thought it was very funny but I'm sure that yokel thing was staged in that although I'm sure the woman said something, I think they cut it to make it look like something it wasn't. For example, a lynch mob just happened to conveniently be to hand and i doubt very much they'd abandon James May.

It's when they try too hard for laughs it annoys me. It's funny enough not to have to do that.

  15. The price thing is a fair argument, but that video is so awesome who cares about arguing. I love it when the Porsche joins the fray too. About £1 million worth of cars tonking down the road. Great!! biggrin.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />

  16. That Thema has been up for sale for ages, I've personally been drooling over it for months. Think theres a video of that actual car up somewhere on youtube/google video.

    It's

    I'm in love. If I could afford to kiss goodbye to £5K it'd be mine. wub.gif style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wub.gif" />
