  1. Hello

Unsure to sell my 1.0l Lupo after she blew her gear box on Saturday, pulling out if a junction in first go to change up nothing but a horrible crunching sound. This was with all the gears, so now needs a new box.

Need to decide weather to call it a day and give to someone with knowledge and time or keep and pay up to get a box. In swaying to latter as need car ASAP, need help with what should I do with car scrap and keep good bits to sell baring in mind limited space and dad won't be to happy clogging his house with car bits. Or sell for spairs or repairs considering everything sound apart from that. What price would be reasonable for it?

  2. Im in need of a decent garage with honest people!

i need my engine misfire sorted out and camber adjusting as my tires are fading away, also im not the richest guy around as im an apprentice.so that's a big factor :/

    cheers guys alex.

    in Warwickshire area.

  3. I did my theory passed first time so easy, then had 12 lessons failed first time just unlucky on weather so I cocked emergency stop by locking up then waited a month with no lessons and sailed the second time all within 2 mounts. But driven on farms and driven Motorbike's from young age so helped..

  4. Yes it may be a 1.0l but still feels sluggish and under powered to what it was, it's ticking over at low revs at about 700 rpm and just seems to be no torque what's so ever when pulling off or going up hills also it's bogging down a lot so I keep having to drop a cog or it starts to shudder! So I'm having to rev the tits of it just to get it going.

Speaking to a few chaps at work (I'm sheet metal worker so sorta in the trade) that could be gunk in the throtal body or my engine could need de cokeing, but i am just wondering if theirs any common faults that I'm not knowing of.

So today I'm going to have a little look at the plugs for any sign of miss fire/coke and see if i can have a looksy at the throttle.

    Cheers Alex

Lupo 1.0L 2001 around 80,000 miles on the clock ta.
