Ill check ebay first, and thanks for the offer style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />
I think the 1.4 Versions have a '1.4' badge and the 1.0 Lupos have 'SE'Not sure if thats strictly true mind, as most of the 1.0 SE's I've seen dont have any badges except 'Lupo' on them. Though theres not many about to look at really.
Also, is your SE badge on the left of the boot, or the right? I saw a fresco green one with the 'SE' under the lupo badge (was a 1.0), and a black one with the 'SE' on the right where 1.4 badge would be style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="confused.gif" />

I have seen a Fresco green with a 1.4 badge without the SE and my Fresco Lupo has just SE, i have only seen one black one here in Somerset.
We'e got two 1.4 SE's and neither of them have 'SE' badges on them, I didn't know that some SE's had 'SE' bagdes till a few weeks ago! I think ill have to get one style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" />

I love that colour too. But I'm also confused as to how you get decent sound through those door cards style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="confused.gif" />

Hi there,
Apparently, if you cut an old credit card into strips, you can slide them into the slots and the radio will pull out.
You don't normally get them with the car I dont think.
Also fresco green is one of my favourite colours, have you got any pictures?

See here, halfway down the page: CD Player

also, i have a basic idea on how to fit but dont think ill manage on my own (first mod on my car) are they expensive to get fitted at a garage?
Yes same here, I just asked my mechanic today and he said about £80! He thought that I'd need new shocks as well (for 30mm eibach springs).

How bads your geography! The MR is in Swindon, last time I cheaked thats not the north east style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
I got an A* in geography style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":P" border="0" alt="tongue.gif" />

What a bizarre roundabout that is, I remember someone trying to describe it to me but I didnt know what they were on about. Perhaps we should go there for the next North east meet if the weather is bad at Holy Island style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> !

Ouch, that was a nice Lupo, I remember seeing it for sale on ebay ages ago.

Ok cheers, think I'll go down and get a price, and see how much for them to fit them too.

I've done a bit of searching, and I'm looking at the Eibach pro kit. It seems its the one VW use for their 'lowered suspension kit', and should be fine with the standard shocks on too.
Can anyone recommend the best place to get them from, on the internet all prices seem to be about £150 style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad.gif" /> , are they worth the money?
I dont know that much about suspension setups really, just what I've read on here. Any advice much appreciated style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> .

There might be useful too: Holy Island causeway safe crossing times

This should be good if enough people are up for this. Not sure about a date though.

Overtook me on the A66, I followed you into the town centre. I was in a black lupo.
55 plate, must be one of the last GTI's registered, looked very clean.
Also saw a silver GTI on the way home, had the old style black and silver plates, seen it a few times before round here.

Would have been Fresco green same as my mums. Wasn't her though.
Did it look much better lowered on standard wheels? I think i'm going to lower mine soon style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile.gif" /> .

Don't know of any difference between the years, they were all registered late 2002/early 2003, so only a small time period.
Is yours on an '03 plate?
