  1. Hi Guys..

Just had my Lupo TDI re-mapped..

Thinking of getting one of these EGR Delete Kits..

To make sure my turbo gets a smoother and cleaner ride!! :)

Now.. I've had a look on Allard website..

Could anyone find me the link to the right kit?!

Need to make sure it's the right one before I buy it!

Has anyone else done this before to a Lupo?

    Thanks

  2. Next time it happens, if it happens... Get done aerosol lighter fluid... Spray it right in and adding the Tyre wall, then set it slight... Pops the tyres back on as it creates a vacuum. Then pump away!

I hear a lot of people using this method to stretch tyres! haha!

    Hopefully this don't happy again..

I'm going to run these tyres down, and get a set of 175/50/15 all round next!

    :)

  3. I reckoned that too. Currently going to run 35psi.. I think that's respectable for the amount of stretch I'm running..

Took the wheel to a local garage to see if there was any damage, punctures ect..

They had a good look and there was nothing of the obvious..

So they put some tyre seal on it and pumped it back up again!

Must of just came off the bead overnight! :/

    All Sorted now!!

    :)

  4. Hi Guys..

Woke up this morning, to drive off to work.. To find out I have a really flat tyre!..

However when I got out of my car.. I saw that the whole tyre had come out of rim!!

    I'm running Nankang NS2 165/45/15 on a 7j wheel!

Any ideas on why this has happened?

And isit more than likely to happen again?

    Any ideas guys?!

I was running 38psi.. Which I pumped up the day before! (reason being.. It kept deflating due to the tyre being stretched!) so I believe anyway!

    Thanks!

  5. Hi CL..

Thinking about wiring up some rear speakers into my Lupo..

I didn't realise I had the wholes in my rear panels for speakers and tweeters!

I'm thinking about upgrading my head unit so I can 'Fade' the speakers..

I was just wondering if it's possible to wire up the rear speakers through VW Lupo Standard 6 Disc Changer head unit?

    If so how isit done?

What are the hole sizes for the Rears?

    Are they 7" ?

    Anyway..

    Thanks

    :)

  6. thank you, im so glad i did mine, it makes the car look so much cleaner on the inside, it didnt take me too long to do them, was mkre difficult getting the handles off!

Yeah I shall take my time when I come to do them! :) did you just use rattle cans? Look a good finish! :)

Could do with a clean I know :) These are the ones that came with the car, so I assume they are the ones that VW gave the previous owner because she was the original owner.

They look decent mate! I deffo got sold the wrong mats then!

  8. I have a set of proper VW Lupo rubber ones in the front. They are brilliant. I much prefer them to the fabric ones as they are more durable.

I use generic rubber ones in the back. They don't fit perfectly but I just tuck them under the seat and they look fine.

Dude could I get pics of these mats? I got sold a set of 'VW Lupo' mats from a bloke off CL! But they are totally the wrong fitment! Just seeing what they look like would be ideal! :)

  9. i ended up having to put 165 50's on my 8's as there just wasnt enough stretch on 185 45 nankangs

See that's what I'm worried about! lol.. Looked at Bridgestone Potenza's 165/50.. And looked rather a skinny tyre to fit onto an 8j! Just worried about getting a blow out or anything! :/ how are you finding them?
