Where/How much to put in? Cheers lols, (I think it's the see-through colour container to the top right of engine block with a picture of a book on it?)
I have the 1.0E, ta.

Is there a Haynes Manual for a VW Lupo. I searched their website for it, and when i clicked the Lupo link, the description for the Polo Manual came up..
I have searched on Amazon and ebay, still nothing?
Think it is worth checking my local car spares shop? Or Halfords? I think i may need one.

I'd snap these up if you lived closer, but i'm guessing you live pretty far away, location?
-
That's fine, aslong as there is nothing major, allready got half the money, so should only be a couple of days

All are flaking mate. Yeah I can wait. Having a look at a set of wheels tommorow.

-
I too would also be interested in knowing any info on this topic..

Cheers for the help deadmetal, I will remove the same amount as you did, I can allways remove another baffle if needed (I doubt it will be)
-
to be totally honest, ive never done it to a petrol, but when we cut open my diesel one it had like a hair textured stuffing material that we just removed before welding it back up.
Okay, cheers for the help.. I'm probably going to buy a cheap exhaust from a breaker, rather than ruining my brand new one...

Making a 1 litre sound beefy is the equivalent of giving a Chihuahua the bark of a staffie, its still a little bit of a mincey dog at the end of the day.
just enjoy the wonders of cheap motoring
I don't think you quite understand my perspective, but cheers for trying to...
Copy deadmetal, cut the backbox open, remove the baffles and weld it back up?
Do i completely remove them all? or just a few holes in some of them? and will that fail the MOT?
-
I am on lowering springs :/
how low, 40mm?
-
Possibly and it will sound ****.
I just need to make it sound a tad more beefy, and a bit more metalic.. I thought putting 2/3 holes in the first layer of baffles would add a little bit of an aggressive vibe?
-
My tyres are: 165/55/13
Yeh rears are not bad just fronts really.
Yh i know it doesn't look low enough but i need to travel as well so i need to be able to get over bumps. :/
How low is it, you on coilies? Lowering springs? or stock?
-
Will removing (or drilling holes in) the baffles in the back box of the exhaust make the car fail MOT?
Cheers-

Nah, they'd look nice after a new paint job, so you're ok to wait a week or two before I come get them?
And on wheel 4 at the top, is that curbed or just flaking? same for wheel's 2 and 3 around the edges.
-
I'll offer you £140? As they will need a repaint, I could come and collect them from you too? I live just down the road..
will take me about a week or too to get the cash though..?
Where do I chuck the Anti-Freeze?
