  1. To remove the heater you have to remove the whole dash and as said above basically undo every bolt you can see. The dash is held in by bolts on the inside and then there are some bolts under the scuttle panel

Cheers for all the help guys, the dashboard is out, just stuck on getting the heater thing out

  2. Nice site! What would you recommend for an inexpensive straight swap for the standard door speakers in a wee 1l Lupo?

On a seperate note, my favorite bass test songs are:

Under the Influence - Chemical Brothers

Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites - Skrillex

depends what your after,...if your good with the wiring go for a nice little component set from vibe? can get them around £40 ( try amazon )

a few good sets here, Vibe Slick 5 Component Set, Vibe Slick C6 Component Set,

you'll be looking around probably £60 fitted and done, you can order the speaker adaptors youll need from amazon aswell, just order lupo front door adaptors,

its easy enough mate, if you need any further help email me on jordsaudio@gmail.com , in mine at first i purchased some crap little £20 speakers,...they were alright, but a bit crap when the music was loud...

    cheers mate,

jordan, also gunna add ur tracks to list :)

  3. i know this is the wrong forum for this but i trust your words better then anyone elses!

my uncle has purchased a old skoda felicia 1.3 and it has no rev counter, so he has purchased all the kit, tachometer and stuff ( dont ask why )

and im just wondering, how do you wire these up?

what goes to where and where are the wheres located hahahaaa

    thanks people!

  4. Their is 3 clips on the badge mate, one At top, then other two are in the same place just a third of the way round (divide a circle by 3 and yoi have the answer youve been searching for) I found it easiest to undo top one and pull the badge forward, then get a flatblade screwdriver to undo the others

    Hope this helps,

    Jordan

  5. I'm actually loving the softer suspension on me loop, had a clio III before & it was a nightmare, stiff suspension & stiff seats which don't hold you in round corners (& don't really allow for short legs like mine!) could feel every bump in the road through my back, now I feel them through the steering wheel, y'know, like a proper car haha Just going for 40mm springs to tighten her up a bit should be sweet, do want to replace the seats at some point though cos you're right they're not very supportive

haha, ive got some coils on mine, and to be honest, the roads where i mostly drive are smooth so i dont really feel bumps or anything like that, the only time i feel bumps is speed bumps tbh, but i go about 5mph over them,

the next thing i wana change is my seats, then i think ill be about reyt :)

  6. Interesting, I have trouble with my back too, hence ignoring everyone telling me to get coilovers lol

i think this is where im weird haha,

my backs in more pain when the car is bouncing about,

i prefer to have something stiff and rigid :S

    haha

  7. Fixed position will be alot harder to get in and out off also you'll get a lot more of the bounce coming thru to you. mk4 golf recaros are more or less straight swap in the front and will most likely be more supportive

    cheers mate,

    massive help :)

  8. hey guys,

i struggle with back problems and the standard lupo seats arent particualy helping,

they are really springy and ive been advised to try get stiff ones by my GP,

would you say reclining seats, or fixed position seats are the best?

    many thanks people,

    jordan

  9. help,

had a little accident with something in the wheel ( perhaps hub or bearings - i dont know )

which caused the wheel to come off whilst i was driving and has smashed up the body panel ( passenger side front wing )

just a quick one, i have a new one,

    how do i remove it?

ive looked under bonnet and can see 3 bolts their which will need to be undone, have tried this but its still held on somewhere :S

    cheers

    jordan

  10. hi, ive just bought a soft blue 1.4 16v,

it has an electric sunroof and pop outs, which are quite rare?

i'd like to get some mudflaps and roofbars, any ideas where i can get an old lupo brochure?

also, whats the best lowering or coilover kit?

it also needs a drivers side mirror casing, and a bonnet in soft blue, any ideas where i can get them?? as there isnt many people breaking them.

    thanks tom.

best thing i found with stuff like that was to go on the VW website ( http://www.volkswagen.co.uk/owners/accessories/all?mark=lupo-1999-2006 )

they dont off much, but i thought id try help, they sell muc flaps and roofbars

as to best lowering kit, i'd choose coilovers, as once i got mine lowered on coilovers, i just wanted to keep going lower haha,

best place for your parts is either on here (in marketplace ), or ebay, or motorhog.co.uk :)

anyway, sorry if i cant be of any more help mate,

    jordan :)

  11. it sounds like your exhaust is blowing.

Next time include the rev counter so we may judge your shifting abilities.

    no worries mate,

ill upload one tomorrow, be around 4ish,

just a quick one, to get to 60 quickest, what RPM would you change gears at?

    mines usually around 5000RPM,

dont know if thats good or not...

    cheers rich

    jordan
