Hi all. I'm a female dubber! I've been driving old Golfs since I passed my test in 2000 (and before!). I own a Mk1 Golf which is nearly 30 years old and still going strong. I've also had a silver 5 door Mk2 Golf CL Turbo Diesel left hand drive for nearly a year, which I go to work in. I plan to keep the Mk1 to the bitter end (emotional attachment), but lately I've hankered after a Lupo...particularly an SDI or TDI due to the sort of driving I do. I could be swayed by a nice 1.4 petrol Lupo, or even a 6N2 Polo TDI. The Mk2 will go (through no fault of it's own, it's been brilliant). 175,000 miles and bulletproof engine with high mpg and good performance. Shot in the dark, but if anyone wants a 1988 LHD Mk2 Golf TD, I'd do a part-ex for a Lupo or Arosa diesel (with cash your way of course). You never know. So there it is...I'll be browsing the club for inspiration and a possible Lupo of my own. See you around folks. Helen
