  1. Would seem so. I hadn't read that. This gets worse and worse. Stupid insurance companies...
  2. Yeah I've had a look at that multi-car, mum and dad are pretty set in their insurers and it doesn't work out as well if we did it. Tried everything. Ergh...
  3. I couldn't get quoted under £3800 TPFT on my 1.0 se.
  4. They aren't bothered about how you drive, it's at what times you drive. Ahh I must have not seen the FAQ part. I'll have to see what they will allow. If I was allowed modifications with the ban on driving times that wouldn't be as bad. Yeah I know it's a bit crap but it's half as cheap as some of the cheapest quotes I've had. £2000 for a year, while on provisional and it won't change when I've passed.
  5. I'm taking my lessons and I have a 1.0l lupo se. I've been trying to get quotes for once I've passed and they all come to around £4000, Third Party Fire & Theft as well. My mum and dad have told me I can get insured with i-Kube for £2000, except I can't drive between 11pm-5am. I don't find this too much of a problem because it will work out cheaper in the long run. I was just wondering if anyone knew if they allowed mods?
  6. Yeah I really like the colour too, it's a bit different. I've been looking for some BBS Rs look-a-likes. I can't afford the real deal but a nice pair would set it off I think. Always been fond of slapping some of them on it.
  7. This is my first car, a 1.0L Lupo Se. It's got 15,000 miles on it and looks and sounds brand new. I'm taking lessons at the minute, can't wait to get passed soon so I can get out in it. Got some plans for it in the future once I'm on the roads. I want it lowered with some nice alloys and simple mods. Looking forward to it. Just wanted to get a few pictures up! I'll get some more pictures soon.
  8. It's like new yeah. My Dad's drove it for a test run, sounds perfect no problems at all. Have to pass my test yet to take it for a spin, get some provisional insurance on it soon! Can't wait.
  9. Thanks that's perfect!
  10. Hey I know this has been raised many times about coilovers. I have a 1.0 lupo SE and I want to lower it on some coilovers in the future. I will be on a budget but might be willing to spend for quality. So I was wondering which are the best coilovers I can get for a good price. Also will fitting them myself be a huge problem?
  11. Hey, I'm Jack, 17 and just bought a 1.0L Lupo SE for my first car! It's in perfect condition and only has 15,000 miles. I want to get it lowered with a nice set of BBS or BBS look-a-like rims on it. Any advice on costs would be much appreciated. Really excited to get driving it.
  12. Hey just bought my first car. Glad to say it's a 1.0 Luop SE. It's 52 Reg with 15,000 on the clock. I want to get it lowered on some coilovers with a nice set of rims. I was looking at some BBS or BBS look-a-likes. Anyone want to give me some advice on which is the best set of coilovers to get, costs etc. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks.
