You will easily be able to go 80mm.
Im on AP coilovers, adjusters out at the back and about 1.5/2 inches left of thread on the fronts, rolled arches and I can still carry three people no problems.
mate i dont think you understand how happy that makes me feel your comment has made my day haha
loop is gunna defo be coming then when funds are together

Yo,
I really want to find out some info on lupos before it is to late and i hae to decide,
my main question is this....
How low can i go on coilovers and still be able to have a full car??
Bareing in mind i will more than likely be putting g60 steels on this which are 15" with et35 if im correct :/ and i havent got a problem with rolling my arches if need be.
I would like to go down 80mm-90mm if this is possible...
Whats your thoughts people i will appreciate it alot if someone will reply
-
Yeah it is annoying cause red is without a doubt one of the better colours lupos come in but i have talked myself out of it now haha.
either silver or black im thinking.
keep the mods coming i will be following this thread bud
also..... really sorry to hijack your thread but... how low down are you?? and can you still have a full car at that height?? cheers mate desperate to find out how low i can go with a full car haha
-
very nice looking lupo bud,i wanted a red one myself but it seems the majority of modded ones out there are red :/ so ima go with a different colour
-
looking good bud, can you still have passengers at this ride height?? cause i would love mine this height but pretty sure i wont be able to have a full car??
-
I'm 6ft and can fit behind my drivers seat in my driving position, which is pretty low and pretty far back. Just have to have your legs wide open!
You can go as low as you like providing your wheels aren't too wide, which G60 steels wouldn't.
LOL at your sig mate
and what so i could go down like 80mm with a full car and have no rubbing?? if say the 15" g60 were wrapped in 45s? with baby stretch?

Tdi are very good on fuel, arosa is same but a lot cheper and more available.
Not a lot of room in the back for tall people but if they got a problem get them to buy a car lol.
The 1.4 petrol are ok on fuel, not amazing.
Pedal box can be an issue, as can gearbox depending on model.
Lotsa other issues that can happen, have a look around the site.
Not sure about lowering rear end, mine scrubbed with 1 person in the back but was before I rolled arches for my low offset wheels
ok thanks alot mate
im hoping i can get it low enough to look good but still be able to have passengers
and yeah overall im hoping to get the tdi but if not i am not to bothered
-
What model?
oh right,would have helped haha....
well i was hoping for a red 1.4 tdi but it seems they are as rare as rocking horse **** so it is probably gunna end up being a 1.4 petrol.

Hey looking to get a Lupo before the end of this year but was just wondering wether you are pleased with what you drive?
A few main questions i wanted to ask where these.
1) How much can i lower it and still carry 4 people on 15s?? i.e. g60s?
2) Can a 6 ft person fit in the back without being to crushed??
3) Common faults?
4) Is fuel as good as people say it is?
cheers guys this will really help me out
