    hey guys! sorry to hack the Club Lupo page with Polo issues, just need as much help as possible thanks.

    more trouble with my Polo.

    changed the wheels on the car, and took the camber off so its running straight and proper now.

    seem to have a loud loud clicking/knocking noise coming from drivers side wheel/driveshaft/cvjoint?

    if i drive on the flat, or down a hill it doesnt do it, and if i put my clutch in it doesnt do it.

    but if i drive up a hill or on a uneven surface it clicks/knocks.

    i see that this could be a drive shaft problem, but i dont understand how putting the clutch it stops the noise, i hope this is not a gearbox problem.

    any help or advise would be much appreciated as need to get it running proper :D

    looks like both of your wheels are running negative camber :P probably not but just looks like it from that picture

    im running camber to get the to fit... as there just normal tyres... when have the BBS on with stretch it can go lower... :)

    hi guys.

    i have recently got my lupo sport back from an engine rebuild... all internals are new, but accessories are still the same, ie coilpack, manifold, inlet, egr valve... had the car back and running fine for a week, haven't been over 3k yet, done aprox 250 miles so far. last night was in 5th gear, had foot down to accelerate and suddenly no power at all, and was running really lumpy and rough, i pulled over and turned the car off. when i then turned the car over, it was still running really lumpy... and i had EPC light... and a flashing CHECK light. i turned the car of, left it for 5 mins, turned it on and it ran fine but with a constant CHECK light. i went home straight away... went to check it this morning, and now it seems to be running even worse, as if its missfiring... the EPC light and Check light are both on. any idea what to do?

    it has new spark plugs...

    i know that coilpacks, ht leads and EGR valve could be a possibility... but just want some opinions before i buy all 3.. and then find out its nothing to do with it.

    any help is greatly appreciated!

    i live in the east midlands... if that helps... and its parked on a drive at night if that makes a difference?

    and i dont know about the like for like... doesnt say anything like that on my policy paper.. i will look into it :)

    and yeah im very happy with it, better than 2600 i payed last year!

    ALL DECLARED, and my Annual Premium is £956.00 with 500 voluntary excess. also includes personal injury, windscreen cover, hire car and legal help.

    thought i would share this as that is a good price, i had cheaper offers from Ecar, and admiral but i didnt get any of the extra's with it.

    hope this helps some people out! as insurance is a pain!
