  3. Firstly, lovely car man, stunning colour and everything just works!

Secondly, i think mounting the sump guard to the bumper is a decent idea actually, might give it a bit more flex and absorb some of the impacts rather then denting/putting a hole through it, its not like it being driven in anger on rough terrain or anything. Anyway, just my £0.02 :)

Cheers dude!!! :D, yeah it not too bad, is some flex init but firm aswell, yeah I do drive carefully over **** terrain like my work street which is full of patched Tarmac haha, but both my sumps have gone on country lanes from rocks thar rolled of banking and off a lorry the last one haha :D so helps there too :)

  4. Update . . Over the weekend bin building my new sump guard keep any unwanted rocks away after 2 sumps going in 3 months :(, so decided I needed some reinforcing under there :)

First thing I did was get some checker plate from work haha ;)

Then I cut it down to size to cover the sump and where ever else it covered. Got my dad to weld too screws onto the frame of car to use to hold the guard up and two others up near the bumper. The piece I got looked a little beat up gave it a spray over with silver paint, soon probably scrape off haha :D. Then to finish off I added some padding just for the some protection and give in the guard.

    Here it is:
