65535 Control module defective. Static
New module required.
-
Mine does it. Only from cold and in 1st. Normal.

I popped over to Durham yesterday and thanks to Rich, we established the bulb was taken out... We fitted other clock and yep, airbag light was back on!
Sadly didn't get to the bottom of what the actual airbag fault is, if I want it fixed, I need a reputable auto electrician.

right then. when out for a drive today and the check engine light has came on . this is the second time this light has shown itself
first time i got the light reset at work. the chap who reset it said *its due to the car not being driven alot and then being driven hard".
well ive been driving it alot more ( and carefully)and now its re-appeard.
ive checked the fluid levels and there allright.
any ideas whats causing this. cheers
90% brake light switch. Cheap fix.

Don't like the mirrors- love the rest! Red really suits the GTI's!
-
I don't really get why we have a fox section anyway- this is a Lupo forum.
-
Really like this! Stunning.
-
I'm not sure, I bought them for a seat upgrade so I don't know really?
Why?
Nice to have in an accident. Should say "airbag" on the side.
-
These look like they've got side airbags?

Its a boot light dude, christ you've gone on about it like its missing a wheel. My Ka doesnt have one neither does my sisters Fiat Cinc.
I haven't gone on about the boot light- it's the least of my worries. The reason for starting this thread is that I PERSONALLY hadn't seen a modern without one. FFS I did say I'd live without one..
-
Stop bitching and moaning, you bought the car, no one else. If you wanted a perfect car you should have either bought brand new or bought a cleaner example.
FFS why the hell should I justify myself to you?? If you're that bored of reading my threads, read all the others. You always get one on forums pissing you off with their ****ty comments. Up to a month or two ago, I had no clue about Lupo's- I've since learnt a lot, most of it is fixed thanks to helpful members on here. Give me and yourself a break.
-
Do us all a favour and sell your GTI, you havnt stopped moaning about it since you bought it.
Get used to it-there's more moaning to come- I'm here to stay.

The size of the boot hardly justifies having a light! The car wasn't really designed with shopping and loading the up the boot in mind, don't like it, buy a MINI!
I don't care how small the boot is- when it's pitch black outside, I do struggle to see what's in there proprely. I'll survive without it but I do genuinely think it's stingy from VW not to have put a tiny boot light to help matters.

He's gone again!!

I looked in the manual at the fuse diagram but no mention of it. Is there one?
-
Looks very tidy- keep it OEM whatever you do!
-
I have the same problem- but it's not the EPC light not coming on it's the airbag light. No signs of tampering with the clocks either. VCDS shows no fault either with bulb. Mystery!
-
Not my cuppa sorry!
-
I googled this, hope it helps
Isn't this the exact same thing I posted?!
-
Gave the car a real going over
Stunning- I just love your motor.

Which it more than likely will be unless the car has had a new gearbox, which isn't a common flaw.
No new gearbox for sure.
-
Yeah- mine is 10 years old this September. I guess the starter did it's job- if it's the original one.
-
Cool- seems up to now the issue is simple wear and tear.
And now for the news which has just about killed me off

LED is what I meant.
Clocks are from a GTi, he bought that 02 plate from the bay a few weeks back.
