  1. Can you not have a split charging system off your alternator for hydros? If I had the choice I would go for hydros only because of compressors being so damn noisy haha and also hydros are so much quicker... Unless you run bigger air lines on air but most are 6mm or 8mm fittings on the bags so your limited? Correct me if I'm wrong. Having said that I've never been in a car with hydros or a car with modern air ride only old 2 way and that was horrific in the bends ... And good news your getting a gti awesome cars still in love with mine even after buying a corrado vr6 aswel :)

  2. I'm running static plus and think its brilliant drive round low all the time raise it up to get over speed bumps its great but it isn't just a case of paying £375 and it works if you want it to be useable everyday you need a tank, compressor, sol valves, ect unless you want to get out with a bicycle pump when you meet a speed bump. For the money you could probably buy a basic all round air set up but if your like me and already forked out money for good coilovers (I'm running kws) it's a good route to go down plus you keep the feel and handling of coilovers it was a win win for me and I'm very happy with it

  3. Not sure really I haven't had any problems but i dont use my loop as my daily and i have 2 sets on i have swapped my tyres around though because obviously one side wears quicker than the other just make sure you get your toe in right on the eibach shims you set them to 30/30 I belive for maximum negative camber and no toe best thing to do is go to Guppa p pro tyre in Plymouth and have your alignment done pricey but worth it in the long run the only reason I go to them lis because most other places don't have the right tools to do it because there no arch gap to get the tool on if you see what I mean but the ones up there they clamp onto your wheel...

  4. I've got the nankangs on mine not the best tyre but deffinitly not as bad as every one makes out to be see how it goes camber shims are so easy to fit anyway but no point in having them unless u need them lol

Oh and the loops looking sweet by the way :)

  5. Awesome that you've got a loop just something about them you gotta love and this forum is actually really helpful once you trailed through all the hate and sarcasm lol looking forward to seeing its progress in the mag as I actually buy it and find it rather good :)

  6. Looks good man but yeah my wheels are 15x8 et10 and I'm running 185/45/15s 2sets of camber shims on the back and rolled and flared arches just to give you an idea of what you might need to do. Also arch rolling wise I think Devon dub shack have an arch roller you can hire or he can do it for you ...
