Fattasss, how much we talking for a ballast?

My off side headlight went on my gti a few months back. I ordered new bulbs an had them fitted. Which didn't repair the problem. Not really knowing what to do I took it to a vw garage for a diagnosis. They told me that the ballast had gone an it was going to be £900 to fix. A little out of my price range I've been looking for second hand ones on eBay. I've found one which I nearly ordered, but I read in the description that it didn't include ballast. Can anyone enlighten me on what it is I actually need? And what do you think I should do? Times running out as my MOT is up at the end of the month! Sorry to go on abit...

It was OK. I only went to the golf club bit, only popped down to merton meadow at the end of the night when most had gone home, so I missed most of it!
What colour is yours? I've seen a Y reg silver one a couple of times, but not seen any others.
I've seen the silver one about too. I'm in a black one, black wheels with polished lips. An I hang Elmo from my toe eye!

hello there. im charlie, but know as weedy! i am not currently an owner of a lupo. But i fully intend to get a gti for my next car. So i thought id jump over here an see what you guys think of them an stuff!!

I might come along. Went to the Cruise Swansea event on Sunday. Was worth the trip down! I haven't been to a lupo meet yet!
