they fit but need a washer either side to fit into the axle housing... TA shocks do blow up if your running low... my FK rear shock and spring set up with no adjusters tuck the tyre enough... and ive run corsa shocks with lupo springs -2 coils xxx
spose i depends what wheels youre running, ive always run 15's, 16's you would really need them, either way as soon as you modify the spring or remove adjusters, once jacked up your spring will fall out

Lol! Thanks! It was an awesome little car, this is going as low if not lower!
They were 7x15 borbets with 165/50 nankangs, TA coilies, chassis notch, no helpers and wound right down, 2 coils chopped outta the rear springs, wheels brought out to et21 and cambered on the rear with washers! Went through rear tyres every 8 weeks!
Gonna whip my helpers out this weekend all being well!
-
Hey Koop! Ever since I saw your loop I couldn't stop thinking about them! Boras are the most boring car ever!
What wheels!!!!???? Need to remove my helpers too!!!!
-
Thanks! Was a bit scruffy around the edges but always turned heads which was the aim tbh!!! I have loads!!!! Lol! I'll get on a laptop within the next few days and throw a couple more pics up!
Loving the new one... Just wanna get new wheels sorted and get it on its back side!
They were borbets again of some sort, never seen another set kinda like these! C's maybe I dunno!
-
Thanks mate! Wish I'd never sold it! However the gearbox went the day after I sold it and I was totally unaware any issues! Guess I dodged a big bullet there!
-
love it!

hi! been a member on here for a LONGGG time! had a 1.4 8v lupo before and sold it so that i could buy a mk2 gti that blew up! always missed the lupo however bought a bora tdi which was the most boring car in the world!!!! recently traded the bora for a lupo sport!
2001 Y with 51.5k miles and a full service history, FK coilovers, Borbet B's (i think) Mk4 Recaros, leather trim doorcards, oil catch can, polished rocker cover, K&N filter and a polished strut brace!
needs a wash!!!!
plans are: different wheels! dislike these ones!
stripped out rear (done )
front strut brace
lower!!!!
maybe some different seats
funky headlining
Epic stance!!!!
TO HAVE FUN AGAIN!!!!
my old lupo (if anyone remembers me) this ones a bit more grown up!
hope you guys approve!

today was fun
My sombrero for VW fest
then i met up with some friends, including RawseGTI
obviously Rawse and his steroid puppy were just so happy!

yeah your interpretation is right, i ran it for a week or two, but i didn't like how it felt,
running with no helpers now with about 10mm tread left on front, ride is much bouncier than before, and its almost level with the rear, which is probably same height as yours.
next step is custom fronts im afraid if i do keep the car
okidoki, i had no adjusters in my corsa on FK's and i actually preferred the feel of it, felt more responsive imo...
gonna have a mess around later on and see what i can come up with... Cheers Chris
i also tried my 10mm spacers on yesterday, bringing the rear wheels out to et25, because im a heavy bugger and i wanted to see if i could get away with no camber for starters i kinda failed. next plan of action is to pop a couple of washers in... i fell in love with the way it looked though! camber it is!
-
please do it
-
hella stretch, hella camber, hella arch pulling
-
i just accelerate if the bumper scrapes the floor, s'only a bumper lip
if youre nearly leaving your gearbox and shafts on your drive then thats understandable
-
So you just chopped the springs?
I need ways of getting my rear end lower once my arches are rolled!
Must be pretty bumpy now
i chopped 2 coils off of my coilover springs and removed adjusters.... however ive bought some 10mm spacers so once i get some longer wheel bolts im gonna use my adjuster bases with the windy part removed which should give me 10-20mm height so that i can sling a couple of washers behind the drum and space it out
bought a snazzy JVC headunit too whilst browsing... ill get pictures of it when i fit my scoob seats and get my shtance onnnnnn y'all xxxxxx
-
Front end really needs to come down!!
Looking good though
How did you get the rear so low?
i knowwww either gonna raise the rear and space with camber or im gonna sort summat out with the front. CHOPPY CHOPPY grinder is your friend!
is that a leather roof?
nooooo, its a terribly painted roof... got it booked in for vinyl wrap at the end of the week. bye bye pink hello burgandy!
-
mine are 15x7 et24 with 165/50's on and they scrubbed on rear springs with adjusters out, now with shorter springs rolled arches and camber they sit at et19. you won't get 10mm spacers on without the drivers side scrubbing loads.
okidoki, so if i pop 10mm spacers on and a couple of washers behind the drum then there shouldnt be an issue?
can i just ask what this 'winding off of the thread'milarky is? my interpretation of it is winding the front coilovers off of the thread so that the load ring rests of the lower lugs....
mind = blown
-
gotta remove ze helpers then!!! but i feel, if the rear was raised so it could be spaced it would look so fresh and so clean, clean! xxxxx
these are also my thoughts young joseph
shame the wheels are buried in the arches man thumbs up for the lows, you just need to get some stance now
i know! i didnt think they would be so buried at et35, im gonna have to lift the rear up slightly to get 10mm spacers in but at et25 it should look a lot better. think i got a bit happy with the old angle grinder!

ClubLupo drunkeness FTW!!!!
i spilt beer on my laptop last time so no more club lupo drunkeness
Feck that looks low dude
Haha wow thats low! Would look better though if it wasnt epicly reverse raking!
how do i rock a lower front? i like the rear, the front needs to be lower than the back!!!! totally agree!
I agree, needs raising a tad on the back :/ then some spacers slotting in.....other than that your WINNIIIING!!! p.s imma come see you and lulu this weekend!!! xxxxxx
the front needs lowering, i require bens advice on this matter! yay coupley photos ftw!
-
after getting my new tyres i was able to go lowwwwww...

i see why you want them then mate! should be straight forward enough for you though! just a smal washer disc either side of the bottom of the shock just to hold them in and youre sound
