  1. What are the maximum rpm can I reach with original conrods, crankshaft and pistons ? And valve springs ? My Lupo is fully loaded. Man who operated the dyno is a friend of me and still has not to much experience. LINCOLNSHIRESLUPOGTI: Can I see photos of your car ? What ITBs ? Where ? How ? ...To much questions style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" />
  2. I will do a new dyno pass because I had many problems with the low weight of the Lupo but they are right: 154 hp and 154 Nm. Now I have the cat installed, before to second pass I will decat.
  3. Thanks, it is a good for me. I got the kit from Rueddel Motorsport. I dont know, sorry. GTi has a long stroke and I think that piston speed is near its limit.
  4. I reworked the exhaust manifold making the holes bigger (I dont know the exact word in english, sorry)
  5. The car is a GTi. Cam profiles: intake 268º and 9,15 mm lift, exhaust 252º (dont remember lift, but i think is 9 mm). Does anyone explain to me what is "gasflowed" ? I paid 1180 euros (cams + custom chip + shipping to Spain).
  6. and BMC. Next step will be rotrex or ITB style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":coffee:" border="0" alt="coffee.gif" /> Any recomendation ?
  7. I did myself without the F*** VW tool so first time I get some errors because G40 and G28 sensors were not syncronized style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="wacko.gif" />

    VW Tools

    Thanks style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />
  9. ... and 154 Nm @ 6160 rpm. I am really satisfied with the results, torque is completely flat from 2.000 rpm. border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="" />

    VW Tools

Hi again, Does anyone know where I can buy tools from VW ? I need nº T10075. Thanks.
  11. I can not find second hand G60 carriers so I will buy a pair of new but I do not know exactly the VW P/N. Thanks.
  12. Yes. I bought my exhaust manifold from Alfatech but was made by CSC.
  13. All errors cleared with VAGCOM style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />
  14. Yeahhhhh. The holes of the header are bigger than the holes of the plate. When I finish the manifold I will put some pics to (try to style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> ) explain better
  15. The GTi has two Helmholtz resonators. The first and longer is on the plastic engine cover (for high rpm). The second and shorter is at the begining of the platic inlet tubes. The second resonator has a diameter about 50 mm. BMC is 70 mm It is very hard for me to explain (in english border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> Culata = header Pletina = ??? border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> The problem is at very high rpm makes back pressure to the header. I will modify it because my idea is to reach 7.500 rpm with cams so at the end it will be like the original. I will loose torque at low-mid rpm but will gain from about 6.000 rpm. At the end of april I will install the new cams and chip. . . . . . I am reading my previous message and the only conclusion is ... my english is horrible style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" /> style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="laugh.gif" />
  16. 1º stock, 2º BMC with Helmholtz, 3º BMC without Helmholtz, 4º BMC and exhaust manifold: border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" />
  17. style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
  18. The box on the original pipe is the cat. This pipe has two lambda sensor attached in the same direction and position of the red arrows. Of course removing the cat improves the flow and speed of the exhaust gases. border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> On the other hand, the check engine light is turn on now because the second sensor is measuring wrong values. Megamind, if you are going to buy Alfatech exhaust take care about the gaskets. They did not send me the middle gasket style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="mad.gif" />

    138 hp for my Lupo

    Well, I will see in a near future style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
  20. Today I installed the new exhaust manifold but first I finished the installation of the new BMC air filter: I made this with Samco hoses and aluminium tubes: border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> The old: border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> The new one: border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> Compare both: border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> This is not supplied by Alfatech and it is necesary. The reason, I do not know they did not answer my questions about: border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> The new one installed, it looks very nice: border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> Cold: border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> Hot: border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" /> And finally the original short resonator. I decided to quit it because with it the motor loose torque between 6k to 7k rpm. It is only 50 mm in diameter against 70 mm of the Samco hoses: border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" alt="IPB Image" />

    138 hp for my Lupo

Before BMC 154 Nm, with BMC and original Helmholtz resonator 162,91 Nm and without resonator 164,7 Nm.

    138 hp for my Lupo

I am confused, hydro valve clearance should not depend on the profile. Perhaps a long profile can damage the hydraulic valve lifter because the roller is pushing it too much time. Sorry but when I learned english i did not study so much style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin.gif" /> of course the teacher never used words like these style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blush.gif" />
