Any opinions welcome

Thanks mate got told by camskill when i rang them that stretch tyres are illegal and you can get fined up to £2500 :S hahaha
-
Dude where did you get your tyres from? I cant seem to find 155/55/14s anywhere haha. I found one website but theyre like £180 for 4, know any good suppliers?
-
That looks so cool! Was it hard to retrim?
-
Nice! Not even that mucky after 90 miles, mine looks 10x worse after 10 miles!
-
How low is that? Is it on coilovers?
Bit fed up with the 4x4 look my Sport has!
Yeah mate its on JOM coilovers. The rears are all the way down but with the adjusters still in and the fronts still have a way to go down but due to balloon tyres and the slope up my drive i cant really go any lower at the moment.

Thanks very much guys im hopefully going to clean the whole thing thoroughly inside and out this weekend (including polishing the exhaust thanks for the tip, it will make a big difference!) and maybe take some of the daft stickers off as theyre starting to look really tatty, haha. Then ill get some decent pics and post em up

I love the leather interior! Id say go for the same colour on the wheels with a polished outer rim, that'd be epic.
-
Perhaps when my next student loan comes through I'll find a cheapish set haha. Get those coilies ordered and whack em on!
-
Looks like a lovely first car, i do love the teardrops though! Keep up the good work. For spacers hubcentrics are better than the ones that use regular wheel nuts, keep an eye on ebay or most vw forums, i find www.clubpolo.co.uk is good for wheels and parts.
-
G60s look amazing! Especially against the white bodywork. I really want a set haha. Ive had JOM coilies for about a year and a half now and theyre great for a budget buy!
-
As soon as funds allow it i shall be getting some mate, yours does look flush! Mine needs a ruddy good clean this weekend too!

Clearance on my driveway sucks

Well i havent posted about my car in ages so heres a quick update (apologies for the instagram pics.). Recently ive painted up my new(er) wheels and fitted them, just a shame about the balloon tyres but my empty wallet is preventing me from getting 155/55s.
The finished result -
Then put my new dubascrub sticker on the front -
And finally, test fitted my new steering wheel today after FINALLY getting the original wheel off! I like it but im not 100% sold yet.
Oh, also wound the front down a little more lately
Any comments welcome as always

Quality work mate! That made such a difference with the lights. Looking forward to see what these coilovers do to it
-
Good news chaps! Got it sorted!! Haha. With some help from a friend all your advice sorted the issue!! Thank you Alex for the recommendation of getting the column surrounds off. Ill post some pics up soon

Are they standard lupo steels mate?
-
Looks amazing dude, shame you cant keep it that low.
-
Cheers lads I'll have another crack at it tomorrow and if it fails I'll just take it to a garage and get them to do it XD
-
I did try kicking it and swearing a lot but that didn't work haha
-
Haha!! I did this yesterday trying to fit the Audi A4 wheel on mine which was a major fail. Did all that wiring coil come undone??
Haha no i didnt even get that far! Couldnt even get both of the airbag clips off
-
I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me, I tried to fit my new aftermarket steering wheel today but could only get one of the airbag clips released on my standard 'wheel, the other one refused to budge. After an hour I gave up and tried to push the other one back on but it won't go back on so now the front of the wheel is stuck half on half off. And it's making the horn stay on constantly whenever I turn the ignition on. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks, like i said, Dirty Stancing and Carbon Motive have A LOT planned for 2010's shed of the year
I very much look forward to seeing what becomes of the "2010 shed of the year"

Nice rims! Polo gti wheels look great on lupos and arosas. If you want the front lower id recommend just saving up and getting some JOM coilovers (£200) a much better option than cutting springs if you ask me, that can get a tad risky.
