  1. the main thing id be looking for is a lifetime guarantee aslong as they are true to their word and replace it if you genuinely break it without abuse then why pay 30quid for a spanner when you get the same cover on a tenner spanner? ive got quite alot of snap on and bluepoint its ok but generally wouldnt say it was largely better than alot of cheaper gear. teng is a great price and great tools still got spanners and sockets from 15 years ago and they get abused as im a mechanic. snap on air tools steer clear of, fortune and not that good next time im getting new ones i will be getting ingersol rand. britool and sykes pickavant i rate, love their gear, strong reliable quality stuff. and as someone said ive heard theres a link between bluepoint tools and halfords tools. i heard the rachet spanners are identical but a fraction of the cost. other than that ive used signet spanners and sockets, their pretty good and cheap.

  2. would have to run an immaculate engine to pull it off though wouldnt you giant? bit like some old hotrods think that was more down to the size and cooling aswell though. would look good with the right engine and a impressive paint job. or you thinking rat look engine? :D or full clear perspex bonnet with rat engine.

  3. because stella rocks. reassuringly expensive. not something i personally would do scotty not my cup of tea (maybe stella) just hes wanting to do something different that came to my head. i used to have a wall in my old flat that covered in stella tins looked great. might get tested for drink driving alot on your car though.

  4. the 1.6 focus isnt a quick car and will probably be a heavier car. therefore the power to weight wont be great. meaning i lighter car with less power may have a close power to weight ratio and be able to keep up with them. but that bhp figure is rubbish ask to see the rolling road sheet and if hes got one saying that, they need to get it calibrated.

  5. a little off topic, but richard hammonds section in the mirror yesterday showed lotus's new versions of all there previous models. some cool looking cars. save up until 2015 and get the new elise for 40 grand. :D ive been in an elise and a vx220 its definately an art getting out. better for a lass in a skirt ;)
