Saw you join the A3 near Raynes Park, then bounce down it towards kingston one day last week.. Looked proper low, are you on coilovers or air?

the red G40 lupo's mine i personally know of one other. im not 100% sure where shes at with her conversion. i believe were both having issue's with finding a sufficient fuel pump as the lupo fuel pump is completely different setup. iirc, the lupo pump is internal and the g40 pump is external, they also have different flow rates. i've been through 2 g40 pumps so far, and havent yet figured out why. and unfortunately i'm not on youtube.

i keep saying it, but i WILL eventually make new videos!

so i washed it for the first time since i got it back..

currently having running issues, keeps hunting on idle and every now and then it randomly dies at the lights.. also yesterday i noticed the brake lights stayed on. i've checked the switch, and bought a new one, and it appears that even when fully extended the little 'plunger' sits maybe 2-3mm away from the pedal? has the pedal had it?

tbh I dont really wanna disclose it as the price was agreed and dependent on what parts I had sourced. I had the engine for a year so had everything, full engine, loom, pedal box, fmic etc. I see your based in scotland, the guys names Dougie and his garage is in Dunfermline http://trixauto.com/

so i bought these on sunday 14 x 7+8 et25 i think. wrapped in 195/45s all round. i'm thinking slimmer tyres maybe needed for the fronts.

next on the list is new topmounts & coilovers. im still undecided on which ones though i know everyone says the jom/raceland ones are poop, but if i wanna go low on the rear there going to need adapting/cutting anyway right? any help/opinions would be great! Ryan

Always wandered why there aren't more G40 lupos. Guess the engines are hard to come by?

mine popped up on edition about a yr ago. they do pop up from time to time and hold there price relatively well. as for G40 lupos i don't know of any, seen a few 6n/6n2 polos converted, and from what i gather the engine bays and engines used are almost identical. theres a G40 arosa on youtube. most people opt to go down the 1.8t route. its a modern engine with 150-225bhp out the box depending on the engine/turbo setup you go for, with huge tuning potential. i wanted to do something a little different

[LED Indicator Bulb Trouble]

as above, the LEDs dont put enough of a load on the circuit so in effect the car thinks a bulb is missing. you can wire in resistors/bulbs or get canbus LEDs as suggested

if you wanna get the nuts off without damaging them and possibly your wheels, i'd say have a look on ebay and buy another set with the same key.. there not that unique and i cant imagine them costing more than £6 - £7?
