Haha hows it goin mate, I was strugglin to start off wit it wasn't boosting right up until the last blast where I got off the a5 for sainsburys, it doesnt like running on 95 octane for some reason and doesnt always boost when I change gear :s lol! mind u what u runnin in yours thou, you werent hanging round it it! I love the estate mk4's they look sick!!
It's a 1.8T from the factory, AUM engine. All the bolt on bits for stage2, downpipe fmic etc and custom map. Dynos around 230bhp/255lbft and weighs about 1800kg with all my tools in the back
Is your motor running oem management so you can pull fault codes from the ecu? If so i had a similar issue solved by taking some preload off the actuator. It wasn't releasing right making the ecu see overboost and sticking me in a temp. limp mode - happened on part load/throttle occasionally too. I've since tightened it back up and compensated for it in the n75 mapping. 1.8T's are basically my daily work (not sure if you noticed my reg plate?) so let me know if you want me to take a quick look, i'm only in dordon.

You should stick that in your window so people who are old enough to know better in mk4 golf estates don't try racing you down the A5

crap fuel can cause all sorts of issues.. i'm sure the "super" from the esso in dordon is less than 97 ron. It felt a bit flat the other night when i saw you so i chucked it on the dyno sunday afternoon out of curiosity and it only pulled 210. Hybrid turbo next week hopefully should cure that
