location201 Posted September 2, 2015 Report Share Posted September 2, 2015 So I'm 17 and just bought my first car which is a soft blue 2000 Lupo 1.4S 16V. Pretty happy with it, it needs some work done to it to make it drive properly but otherwise it's good. The previous owner mucked up the wheel arches with his "paint job" so I'll need to see what I can do to fix that but I have other issues. For one I need a new lambda sensor and maybe a new backbox for my exhaust and I suspect a new water tank. The pump is fine though but I suspect the radiator may have a small crack but I do have a spare one. I also noticed something strange with my driver side door. If I lock or open the door with the buttons on drivers door and then get out and lock it the window closes(all well and good) but if I open the door the window comes down automatically... Anyone know what that's about? If anyone knows anywhere I can get the lambda sensor at a decent price that'd be good. I've seen them on ebay from anything like £60 up to £130 I only paid £400 for the car and at the moment I'm more than happy to put another £400 in the car and I think it'll need it to get it running as well as it can. I didn't have time to do the research on the car like I perhaps should have but I couldn't resist it, not for the price.
