can anyone recommend some sites? (I do not have the time / cant be bothered converting from dvd)
-
you could save a fortune and just make a very nice lupo out of a 1.0 or 1.4 without having to try look like a GTI. chances are a look-a-like will just look-a-bit-rubbish.
-
yes will get some more pics up soon, (they were only quick pics in-between the showers yesterday). The interior chrome kit, chrome front grill and the fogs & interior fog lamp switch are all Seat parts not aftermarket stuff.
-
its the kit from SEAT. can get another pic of the exhaust.
-
its cos of age (23) and because theres 0 no claims for the 2nd car.
-
Its not really a 16v - the badge is off my old Seat.....its a 1.0s with some nice extras. border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> border="0" class="linked-image" /> Didnt clean it up especially to put on the net for sale but thought would put a few quick pics on to see if any interest & what you all think.

yeah can afford to run both but is costing a hell of a lot more than we want to pay out (to explain: as 0 no claims on second car the lupo is near £100 a month to insure and the arosa about £50 - to insure just the Lupo alone (using ncd is £60). In answer to the future classic thing, there is a chance that with numbers being so low it could just disappear into obscurity, no?
-
i really like that its a sport model that doesnt rely on plastic 'stick-on' parts to 'improve' the bodywork, it just has a different body. The golf rallye is the only other I can think of like this.
-
...........Inspector Clouseau goes around solving crimes in a Lupo GTI! does that add celebrity value?
-
Lupo GTI a future classic?
-
I will ask the question on an Arosa forum if there is one!?
-
oh no...not the air-con debate again! mine is up for £7499 ono with 34k but then its a 54 reg so eventhough it doesnt have the air-con its still under warranty and still under-cutting the rest of the market. However, as someone (sorry I forgot your name) on here pointed out the trade price for mine is £7400 so the price really is a good deal..... Back to the point though.....what would you folks do - keep trying with the Lupo or sell the Arosa? Arosa GTI! like the idea but sounds like far too much work!
-
As many of you will be aware I have advertised my much loved 54 plate GTI for some time and whilst there has been lots of interest theres a severe lack of actual offers. I have noticed a lot of the other GTI's that were privately for sale that now (or recently) have shown up on dealerships for sale so obviously they are a difficult car to sell privately at the moment. I am now wondering if we should keep the Lupo (being the more valuable car) and advertise the 1.0s Arosa. Obvioulsy running costs are an issue and the Lupo is a bit more - fuel being the main one (the insurance costs aren't too bad). The Arosa if really my gf's car and she is very attached to it but I think it might be easier to sell. What do you guys think.....keep the Lupo GTI up for sale or try and sell the Arosa? The Arosa has a few nice extras like the Arosa floor mats, stainless Arosa door sill strips (the proper SEAT ones ordered in), a stainless twin exhaust (lifetime guarantee), spoiler, and the fog laps & bumper grills from the Sport model.
