Camber not the silly kind

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

So having a problem with my arosa. Recently changed the springs, top mounts and wheel bearing. Replaced everything got alignment done and one side is at -1 and the other -3. Now I have camber bolts which will help but surely it shouldn't be that much out should it? How do I get it back to normalish camber?

All the above work bar the alignment was done by me. On most other cars I work on the camber is done by moving an arm so I'm a little confused here.

Just read this.

If you have the strut slightly loose i.e. enough to move it about (top mount bolt and both hub/strut bolts loose) pull the hub away from the car (pulling the top of the hub) and then tighten everything up again, this will give you maximum positive camber without the use of camber bolts, im running on TAs and it's enoughcamber for me smile.gif

is that correct?
