Kenwood USB N/A Device?

When i try to use my iphone/ipod on the usb port of my 'Kenwood KDC-3057UR' It says 'N/A Device'. Anyone know this problem? if so how do i fix it? it says it supposrts iphone and ipod usb but it doesnt and its starting to get on my nerves using AUX because its so much worse. Please help

Just had a look, Nath is right. You'll need to use some sort of Mass Storage mode, or perhaps MTP if possible.
