arsenal24295 Posted May 7, 2014 Report Share Posted May 7, 2014 I have got an under the dash cupholder/cointray i was wondering if i could change the 2 around as the cupholder is on the right and coinholder on the left how easy is it to swap the cupholder to the left and coinholder to the right? Silver! Posted May 8, 2014 Report Share Posted May 8, 2014 You can swap them round yes. The fronts will need to be clipped off and swapped over. The only problem I found is that the fronts are "sided" unlike the DIN slot ones and VW do not make (or no-one could source a part number) a right hand plain front for the coin tray.I got a left hand coin tray front and cut\pared away some of the mouldings on the "inside" to allow it to fit.
