hi iv had a 1.0l lupo for a couple years and iv lowered it and fitted some wider wheels but i couldn't see the point in making it any faster. but i just bought a gti lupo about a month ago. its completly standard but will be getting kw coilovers and some wide wheels (not sure what yet) i want to modify the engine to get it a bit quicker and the first thing will be the exhaust system. so any ideas? iv been looking at the scorpion cat back system so if anyone has any reviews of them would be useful. cheers

My girlfriend has jan speed on hers and it sounds really nice I've been banned from having tht on mine so think I'm getting a kam racing at some point. I've got a piper cross induction kit on mine ATM and it sounds really nice. Just lacing the exhaust noise as well.

If you're considering the Kam Racing system here are a couple of vids to wet your appetite. the second on is from a hill climb in Italy IIRC

manifold - 200cell cat - system with center + rear silencer

Manifold - decat - system with rear silencer

Would say a sports cat is worth it? Considering one now!

The first video is what made me think about getting the kam racing exhaust, the second vid has just made my decision harder as not sure which to go for now, im not to bothered about top end speed really just want a good pull through all the gears.

How much are they for a gti from you?

Its only available as part of the manifold design rather than a stand alone pipe that would fit the standard manifold. The combination of the down pipe and either a 100 cell or 200 cell cat comes to £765.88 inc vat.

The catback exhaust is from £444.91 inc vat
