My first lupo
So I have lowered my lupo 1.0 and I have been driving it for a while like this now, I have had a few scares though when I turn the wheel and my car just carrys on going forward.. The tyres are fine on it and I have been trying to get the tracking done but it's to low to fit the tracking gauges over my tyre because of my arches .. I also was rid of this in even camber i have got from lowering it .. I am lowered on ta technix coilovers on the front and adjustable springs on the back (taken the adjuster cups off because I wasn't low enough) any help would be greatly appreciated .. Thanks
matt123roll
Tracking wise, look for a motorsport specialist or somewhere that has the 4WD Hunter alignment system. The hunter system goes onto the rim and doesn't hook over the tyre like most 2WD tracking systems. You're lack of grip is more than likely due to poor camber and general alignment issues. Consider a better tyre/wider wheel if you feel it's a big issue after you've had it aligned.Listing where you are in the country may help someone offer advice about tracking in your area. If you're in the north west I can point you to a few places.
Defcon5
As above, you will probably have massive negative camber, google tyre contact patches. What tyres do you have and what pressure are they?
Silver!
My Arosa was like this when I first lowered it. To get you by util you can get it done, loosen the hub\shock bolts, get someone to pull the top of the wheel outwards and hold whilst you tighten. Then get it booked in.I loved it when mine was doing it! Great fun, but get it sorted.

Defcon5
Try increasing the pressure a bit, to 32/33 see if that helps
GeoffD
the problem is almost certainly a tracking error due to the car being lowered. all of the suspension alignment is altered. you always have to track a car when you lower it. get your tracking done and your handling should improve. geoff
Defcon5
And slow down when entering areas with high vehicular and pedestrian density
