Juddering

Hi,

I'm after some advice, over the last couple of weeks my lupo has been juddering. Whenever I put my foot down, either for speed or to get up a hill, it starts to judder and feels like it's about to stall, the car is also feeling sluggish. I've checked for error codes by my £10 handheld code reader from flee bay but no codes show up.

Would this be a sign that the coil pack and HT leads need replacing?

If so, is it difficult to change a coil pack?

I've had a quick look under the bonnet at the coil pack and from what I've seen there four bolts holding the coil pack, and a black plug at the back of the coil pack.

Would I have to disconnect the battery to change the coil pack?

Any help or advise would be great.

Cheers

Steve

I'd clean the throttle body before I even thought about spending any money on doing anything else.

If the throttle body is clean then take a look at your spark plugs, then leads, then coil pack I'd say.
