Good news!

Well not so to start, I hit a pothole, it was the hole or a van, I made my choice.

That put an EML on, scanned and it was P0030, heated oxygen sensor bank one sensor one,

Phone Seat, they said just drive it.

I may or may not have missed my mot by a month...

Failed MOT on sky high emissions.

One new Front lambda sensor later and nearly £300 lighter...

The Arosa lives on sailed through the emissions test and MOT with no advisories!

And these are all on the new arrival... 107k miles, 11 months 357 days mot, 4 months tax, partial service history, bought from a girl who was in my class at school.

Engine management light was on so I scanned it and it turned out to be an unexpected high idle... cleared so hope it stays away!

Where did you find the mud-flaps and the spoiler? And how did they both fit? Fairly easy?

Bought a second car with them on. The mud flaps screw on with the existing arch liner screws. The spoiler has to be bonded on. Good luck finding either though.

Does the AUTO work?

Works a treat Dan. One of the best £30 I spent, comes with coming home lights too, so when you lock or unlock the car the head lights come on for ten seconds. I'm assuming that's the auto you're on about not the auto lock or the auto box in the audi.

Would universal mudflaps work the same way? As you can probably guess, this is my first car and I really know feck all about how to do anything to a car...

Yes you could make them fit in the same manor, I think somewhere on this thread is a picture of them off the car so you could compare holes. Failing that I'll measure mine at some point for you. The Lupo ones also fit exactly the same they just have a vw logo not seat. If you can find some gti pedals covers add a nice little touch. Do you have the light interior or the black?

That would be brilliant! I'd love to get some gti pedals, they look proper smart. I've got the light interior, and it's a bit worse for wear...

I'm from sunny staffordshire/Derbyshire boarder, I too have the light interior and mines not great, I spent 13 months working at the mich tyre factory so as you can imagine it's not the cleanest ATM. It's the little things like carpeting the sides of the boot and installing rear arch liners that I think make the difference. Thought about Lupo rear lights or are you keeping the arosa ones?

Yeah I might have a look a simple things like that, it's always the little details that really bring everything together. I think I'm one of the few people on here that prefer the standard Arosa ones over the lupo ones! If you've got any old parts lying around that you don't need, I'm always here!

Plenty like front lower door cards, Lupo headrests, standard rear lights for both Lupo and arosa, front Lupo bumper, arosa alloys, wiper arms. Erm that's all I can think of ATM, a fresh set of like grey door pulls but they're for mine ;) brand new arosa floor mats with orange trim to match the orange arosa on them. Erm mostly the standard parts from mine that I've replaced. Definitely see about the boot carpets such an easy thing and make it feel so much classier.

I may be interested in those alloys, I've got a set on mine but I kinda want to spray them black ('cause I can't afford decent ones) but don't want to regret it and ruin them. If there's any simple/cheap Arosa upgrades you can think of, I definitely want to know. I'm gonna think hard about the boot carpet though, maybe shagpile?

Yup, thanks for the headsup, wanted to do that install to mine, but forgot about it.
