Before I start, this isn't going to be another one of these 'I have £500 where can I get this done' kinda threads, I've thought about this a lot on and off for the past year and I think I'm going to go for it over the next year

so basically this is my list of things so far:

Engine (thinking AUQ due to DBW throttle)

Gearbox (think I need an o2j)

Pedalbox (for hydraulic clutch, lupo TDI/GTI?)

Driveshafts

Mounts

Loom

FMIC

Boost pipes

Exhaust

Shallow Sump (eventually)

Brakes (sport rear beam and the G60 upgrade)

Cambelt and water pump (may as well do them while engine's out)

ECU de-immobilised

I guess there's probably loads I'm missing, I'm fairly handy with a welder, and I have a mate who is VERY handy at fabricating things so if there's anything that needs doing it can be done

I know it will take a while, I'm not expecting in and out in a week, just wondering what else I'll need, rough time frame etc

thanks guys!

Dan

No the battery can stay in the standard place and looks amazing if you leave the engine cover on as well (factory look)

For the intercooler use the wing mount and all you will need is 2 x 45 deg silicone hoses I stock them as well and the coupler to go in-between. How ever i have some 1 piece silicon hoses being made and can come in any colour.
