danoid
ON the left of our 1.0 AUC engine, there is some tubing which is usually full of nice smelling gunk.I can remove the top part, but then there's a fatish tube that goes down to the back of the engine and cannot figure how to remove it. Tried reaching around but no joy.Has anyone removed the part in question before? Bound to be a clip? but was access is tight, so is visibility.Basically, I want to remove it, so I can give it a good cleanIt's like that one there, but not as bad, but it's the same tube Edited September 26, 2013 by danoid

James827
Spunk in your breathers isnt cool. im sure many girls can tell you that. probably some clip you have to compress, so mole grips at the ready..
danoid
Doh, thought it would be a clip, but darn hard to get to. Atleast I know, one year I'll tackle it thanks
Defcon5
Doesn't it have some kind of heater halfway up?

arosa-beeftex
Have a read of this: Oil Separator unitI would recommend that the seal on the oil filler cap is replaced too to ensure good fit as per this article.
danoid
Ooo nice find, thought it would be an undercar jobby to remove the part.Slightly confused at the first link as it says 4 bolts remove it, but cannot see any bolts on that part, so I'll be defo looking into in the future. The problem is imo, the journey my gf does to get to work is about 1mile, however moving into our first house at of the month and then the journey to work is 10mins walk, so doubt the lupo will get used much, so plenty of time to play
