rapidebrothers Posted September 16, 2013 Report Share Posted September 16, 2013 Hi there just after some advise on how to fix a problem with my 1.4 TDI Lupo.Recently have noticed a small pool / drops of liquid underneath the offside / Drivers side corner bumper close to the wheel, after inspecting it closer turns out to be diesel fluid!The filter hasn't been changed for a while so if I renewed the filter there would it rectify the problem?! James827 Posted September 17, 2013 Report Share Posted September 17, 2013 jack it up and check all the fuel lines are good. i believe these have a Fuel cooler basically under the drivers foot-well, check that, looks like also just follow the fuel lines from under the car up into the engine bay. the canister fuel filters don't fail like that often. but there is a drain screw on the bottom, make sure its tight and no snapped off somehow Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
